Only a companion was my once severed heart for him.
He couldn't see in another viewpoint where he'd consider my life.
I begged the stars and heaven for my adulation towards him to never begin,
But it only caused my intuition and faith to divide.

I claimed I was his best friend, but I wasn't his,
But we'd always be together, everyone knew he was lying.
He treated me like his muse, so I ceased to exist.
But I was his fool, and believed the words of his that's enchanting.

He found his temporary muse, another beguiling romance.
She thought he was a missing piece of her, a twin blue star.
Only a mirage was the twin star, a season of tragic circumstance.
So I became the two failed stars' lodestar.

He told me I was his best friend, told him he wasn't mine.
I was lying to him, because a feeling of adulation conquers my heart.
He knew it beforehand, yet he let himself be stained with carmine.
He liked me, I loved him; a feeling that would tear us apart.

He was scared that he'd be stoned by the people that surrounds us.
A rule in the scripture we both had to follow.
Two men, In God's eye, it's a disgrace and lust.
He was scared, but I wasn't, I'd face the stones they'd throw.
