"Once you have settled down, Sebia, it is time we figure out what to do with our wayward child." Lavin said as he looked to where Marcenia was still standing like a puppet, not quite holding onto Gaelik, but not stepping away either.
This alerted those who were still staring at one another of the presence amid the destroyed field.
The woman in the middle seemed familiar to all of them, and each had a different name they called her by.
"Bellamy, check your sister for any status effects." Lavine said as she nodded to the large wolf who set the pregnant woman down.
He quickly reverted to a man, buck naked as the day he was born, who nodded as he quickly performed movements with his hands and a thick stream of white energy shot out towards Macey.
"I have not found any, Mother," he said as he frowned, pulling the white energy back.
"Allow us to check her as well." the twins said as they quickly chanted, allowing their power to seep towards her, frowning as well when nothing was found.
"Her mind is empty. I'm not reading anything from her, Korain." one of the men beside him said.
The same was found no matter who checked, no matter which world they were from.
"Only one way to check if she's still of a sound mind." said Deimios. "Attack her."
"Are you insane?" asked one of the other men not too far off. "Wendy has always been of poor health. How can you dare do that to her?"
Those closest turned to stare at the man as though he had grown extra heads.
"Do you mind repeating that?" Marcellus asked with an incredulous look on his face. "I feel I may have gone deaf momentarily and misheard you."
"Wendy was born in poor health. She needs to be protected." he insisted.
"Who invited the idiot?"
All eyes turned to Gem who seemed ready to laugh at the man who spouted such nonsense.
"He's from a world where she pretended to be a little lamb while coddling him behind his back. You have to forgive his naivety."
"Ah, who cares about an idiot." Marcellus ran at speed towards Marcenia, only to be ruthlessly thrown back by an invisible force around her. He dry heaved a few times as he rolled over, getting up. "Weak my ass!"
The floodgates had opened at this moment, and several thousands of people, including those from the world they were now on, ran towards her, trying their best to get close only to be flung away like ragdolls.
Deimios took this chance as everyone was gathering themselves, telling Felix to cover him as he ran, and shifted into his own draconian form, showing torn wings on his grey back. This, to all draconian understanding, was to signify that he had been considered a great general once, only to have his wings taken after the war. He was able to break through her defences and grab onto her with his front paws, only to have her ruthlessly grab hold of his giant body in turn and body slam him into the ground before her without a crease in her brow or clothes. It stunned all around to silence when they watched the beast slug into the earth like a piece of nothing.
He got up again, running towards her again, shifting back as he got through her defences again, attempting to land a punch anywhere he could.
She grabbed his fist with ease, throwing him over her shoulder as though he was a rag this time, her eyes not quite seeming to see him. Ever persistent, Deimios appeared behind her again and managed to land a punch that made a dull thud sound as she stood perfectly still. Her hands snaked over, grabbing his arm and throwing him again.
