"What do you want, then?"

"From you?" He nodded as I waved for the King to sit down.

"If you're looking to marry into royalty I'd rather die. A woman who is as wild as you is disgusting to look at. I mean look at you, dressed like a woman on her way to gym and hurting others so easily. You are a boorish woman."

'Please ask your guards to take the rogues and leave earshot.'

The King's eyes snapped up to me. I turned as they did his bidding and looked at Gerald.

"If you value your life, cousin, you will not share what I am about to reveal."

He held up both hands in the air as if to say 'I would never'.

I turned towards both King again.

"I honestly do not give a flying fuck as to what you think about the way I dress or behave. And neither do I need to marry into royalty, idiot. I am the Celestial Heir." I watched as he gaped for the fourth time at me today. "And my request from you today is a treaty with both my mother's and Father's races."

"Races?"

"I'm a Hybrid. My mother was the Celestial Heir before she mated the previous Royal Werewolf Gamma. She was disowned for choosing a male from another race over her title and when I was born as the only other heir, I became the true Heir."

--

My stomach growled just as we finished drawing up the treaty contracts. I was more than hungry. I was having difficulty keeping my mood in check as the wolf and dragon inside me raged at each other, snapping at each other because of my hunger. I rubbed my temples as they exchanged reluctant hand shakes. I could hold out for more than two hours once in maybe a year, but this was the second time in less than a week and it had been six hours since I'd had the whole turkey.

I looked at Gerald in desperation to which he immediately reacted, reaching out to me as I stumbled forward.

"I need to eat... Before I go crazy."

"You can honestly not be that hungry after..."

I already had him shoved out of the way as I made my way into the pizzeria's freezer, heading straight for the meat dangling from the roof. Without thinking twice I felt my body scale over slightly, mostly to help my use of my Draconian powers. I inhaled deeply before spewing fire at the meat, not caring about the poor freezer or any other items around me. The meat was charred but just right inside and the shop was on fire. I feasted on the meat as they ran out and the fire spread around me. I tore into the meat with my fingers and ate at the somewhat raw inside beef before moving on to the next piece. I dug into two hind quarters before moving to the bags of processed meats in the melting freezer, feeling what my state of mind believed to be rain pouring down on me. I was still gobbling down bacon when I heard the voices.

"Macey? MACEY, ARE YOU IN THERE?"

"Mace, where are you?"

"Child you'd best be okay or your mother would eat me."

"Mac..."

I turned, strings of sausage in hand and a roll of bacon hanging from my mouth as I devoured it, swallowing pieces of meat whole. My eyes landed on the look that was plastered all over their faces. The King, all of my cousins, Prince Demonico, some male and female warriors and the elves stared at me in disbelief as I continued to chew bacon. When I swallowed the last bit I held out the sausages towards them as I stuffed a piece in my mouth quickly.

"Want some?"

"Macey, have you been here this whole time?" asked Demonico.

"Yeah, why?"

They took in the sight of the carcasses completely meat free as well as the empty, melted containers.

I stood up, patting my stomach with a satisfied grin.

"That was delicious." I tilted my head, hearing water droplets splash from my hair onto the soaking floor. "By the way, why are you all dry? I'm sure it rained just now."

Gerald dragged a hand over his face, sighing deeply, while I saw the others seeming really dumbfounded.

"Did you start the fire?"

"Fire? I only went into the freezer and cooked some meat with my flames."

"You made a fire, Macey."

"Ohhh... I thought it felt a little warm around me. Then it might have been me. When I'm super starved the others are usually in control. But I should be okay for maybe an hour and a half. Good thing I ate, huh?"

"You do realise you burned down a shop, correct?" the one elf asked.

I shrugged and smiled sweetly at them.

"Let's just go home and sort out the rest of this whole thing."

At the castle I excused myself to get MUCH needed sleep and passed out almost as soon as my head hit the pillow.

--

I heard them as I walked down the halls. My hearing was obviously ten times better than theirs so I could hear them, their disgust and displeasure with me.

I sighed.

I was being called the 'pyromaniac', 'the fire freak' and the 'hybrid fuck-up'.

I had expected the hatred. Anything new and different had to be slandered and abused until it was within the norm. This was what wolves were like. They were welcoming assholes with judging eyes and sharp tongues. Especially the bitches... I meant females.

I turned the corner towards the dining hall before plopping my ass down next to Garion. At least his aura stayed pure. He patted my head with a smile as the food arrived.

"Best give her more before she burns the castle down!"

The laughter around us had me looking to where the girl was glaring back at me.

I watched as her friend opened her mouth. "We wouldn't want the gluttonous pig to squeal again. Give her some of mine."

"Who would have thought the great Gamma Sebastian King would lower his standards for a lizard and have a half-lizard bastard daughter."

Garion was about to stand up when I placed my hand on his arm, getting up myself. I strode leisurely towards them, taking an empty plate from the omega as I passed her and the food cart. I sat down on an empty seat across from her and took her fork, stabbing it into her meat and transferring it to my plate before doing the same with her friend's plate. They seemed taken aback before anger clouded their auras.

"What are you doing you...?"

"You offered to give me your food, did you not?" I asked with a raised brow, taking a bite of the meat. "Now you look like the type that enjoy salads, so I'll leave you with that." I stood up, plate in hand. "After all, cows also enjoy grass and just look at how healthy they are." I lifted my shirt to reveal my flat stomach, carved with taught muscles. "Me? I like my protein. We all need those pretty fit girls to live up to, after all. Just a shame I have no-one to look up to here since... Well, I may be a gluttonous half-lizard pig, but at least I don't have to pretend to be something I'm not."

I winked at them before walking back to my seat where a plate of half-steaks were waiting. I lifted a brow, seeing the pride in Garion's eyes and the warrior women and men on the two tables nearest to me smiling at me genuinely. The two girls I had taken on were apparently mates to one of my cousins and the eldest Prince and had gotten on their high horses since they started dating the previously mentioned two males.

I was the first to knock them down a peg in forever.
