Macey King
Having arrived alone at Pearl Bay, after insisting that the warriors return home as my condition, I looked around the airport, seeing no-one here to greet me. I took my phone out, dialing the number I had been sent for that Alpha.
"Alpha Xavier speaking."
"Alpha Xavier. Mind explaining as to why I am still at the airport with no escort waiting?"
"Are you the hybrid that I'm supposed to host for a few weeks?"
"That would be me."
"Fuck off back to that castle. I've had enough of you prissy castle cunts dictating my pack."
"You either send someone to come and get me, or I come and beat the shit out of you."
"Step onto my lands and I will allow my warriors to rip you and your posse apart."
The line went dead in my ear and I glared at the phone before pulling up the location on my phone. Picking up my backpack I exited the airport and decided to walk towards the pack. And when I say walk, I actually meant sprinting at superhuman speed that mad me look like a blur to the eyes of those who saw me pass by.
The five hour drive was a half an hour sprint. I literally skipped onto the pack lands, passing several wolves who stalked after me. Obviously they knew someone from the royals was coming and obviously their Alpha thought I would be quaking in my boots instead of casually skipping onto their lands.
I reached the large Manor that served as the pack house just as several large males came storming out with serious 'I'll whoop your ass' faces. I lifted a brow as they ran past me in the direction I had come from. I walked towards the porch and sat down, waiting. The pack wolves were staring at me as the ones who had been following me ran after their leaders.
They returned ten minutes later, the one at the front walking right up to me and grabbing me by the collar.
"You! Where's your adviser? And the rest of your warriors?"
I tilted my head. "First, get your hand off of my clothes." I removed his hand as gently as I could, not wanting to hurt him. "Second, I am the adviser, Macey King." I picked up my bag. "And third, I don't need an entourage everywhere I go. Now, if you don't mind, I'd like for you to show me my room."
"That just makes this easier."
He picked me up over his shoulder and walked back towards where I had entered.
"You do know that you are just making this worse on yourself, right?" I asked, resting my elbow on his back and my chin on my hand, smiling sweetly at the males behind him.
"I told your Beta and the King that this treaty crap is a waste of time." he answered. "I will not allow a little adviser to come and ruin my pack because the King doesn't have the balls to take over the clans."
He stopped for a moment, as though realization set in. "How did you get here so fast... And why do you smell so Goddess damned strange?"
"I jogged. Took me thirty minutes and twenty one seconds. And to answer your other question, idiot, I smell funny because, shithead, hybrids don't quite smell the same as full blooded wolves."
"I know Hybrids smell different, but goddess knows I've never sniffed out a wolf-hybrid smelling like you. And I'm sure I've met quite a number."
I smiled again, winking at another set of very naked males that we passed by. "Oh yeah?" I asked as I watched the males who were looking between each other before looking back at me. "Ever met a Hybrid Werewolf-Dragon?"
