"Fine, we'll only ehm...go out this one time and that's it. After that I'm putting my pajamas on and going to bed."

"That's fine...I totally get it, it's gonna be a busy day tomorrow; don't melt your brain too much from everything!" Joey chuckled as Cole took an umbrella for their walk outside on the ship.

Cole used the umbrella in the heavy rain; the rainstorm was worse in person than just looking at it. Cole made sure to stay close to Joey, the flurry of wind, the slippery floor, the bitter surroundings. Cole anxiously looked up to Joey. He was eager for them both to get back. "This is really dangerous...we shouldn't be out here Joey."

"Nonsense! This is fun, what's the point of living...if you don't take risks?" Joey expressed.

Joey put his hand on Cole's back and slowly had them both get close to the edge, the only thing stopping them from going over, was the handrail; it was dangerous that they were that close in the weather conditions. "Okay, I think this is close enough, I think we can go back Joey!"

Cole felt a gust of wind hit him, his umbrella flew out of his hands. "No, you gotta be kidding me!"

The umbrella flew in the wind. It flew over the handrail. It fortunately got caught on the handrail, it dangled slowly while stuck. Cole and Joey looked at each other. "I'm not getting that umbrella...I mean, it is YOUR umbrella after all!"

"Y- yeah but, you brought us to this...plus you're taller, it would be easier for you to get it and not me!"

Cole saw the umbrella slowly getting loose, he didn't know how long it was gonna be until the umbrella fell off. "Alright genius, unless you want to be wet this whole field trip...if I were you, I'd get my umbrella."

"But, gah...alright fine." Cole hesitated but had to accept the situation as it was.

He slowly started to approach where his umbrella was on the handrail, he made sure to keep his hands on the handrail. He looked over the handrail to see the umbrella, the drop made his stomach twist. He started to put his hand over the rail in order to reach the umbrella, but he couldn't reach it. He slowly got on his tiptoes to get more reach. His hand was getting closer, but the umbrella got even more loose. "I don't think I can get it...Joey I might slip!"

"Nonsense, you almost got it. Just reach it a little more and you'll get it."

Cole slowly started to move his hand away from the umbrella. "But...it's too far, I don't think I can reach it...look I'll just be in the rain the whole trip!"

"Stop being a little baby and just grab the umbrella; just grab it, it's no big deal."

Cole was uneasy but looked back at the umbrella, it was now or never. His hand was trembling purpheously. His hand got close to the umbrella; he could practically touch it. The anxiety was killing the frightened boy. The boat shook violently. A loud noise cracked off. "Waah...what was that loud noise Joey? JOEY?"

"Lightning just struck! Hurry up bird brain, that was too close!" Joey said, frightened.

Cole reached for the umbrella quicker, finally getting a grip on it. "Y-yeah I got it!"

A loud noise cracked off again, resulting in a gust of wind. Before Cole knew it, he was off the ship and into the sea. The water chilled the boy to the bone. He was bobbing in the sea, trying to keep his head above water. "JOEY...please...help!" Cole screamed.

Cole was frantically trying to swim to the ship, but every second it got further from him. He eventually couldn't see the ship. Now he was alone in the hazardous sea.
