"Hey excuse me! I think that way would be the correct way!" An unfamiliar voice interrupted.

The voice was behind Cole, it startled him. He quickly turned around; there seemed to be no one around. Cole was confused. "Gosh...am I g- going silly or what? These islands are really getting to my head."

"But the other way is also a great option!" Cole was interrupted again by the voice; he looked back in the direction of the crossroads. "O- okay, now I know I'm not going insane." Cole spoke to himself again.

"Of course, you could go both ways!" The unknown voice said once more. Cole immediately turned around and caught the person talking to him, the person stopped dead in their tracks.

They were behind a fence made of wool. They seemed to be taller than Cole; he had to look up to the stranger. The stranger seemed to be some sort of crochet doll, they were wearing a shirt, overalls and boots; all made of yarn. Their hair and eye color were red; everything about the stranger was made of yarn.

"Why...you're the one who's been speaking!" Cole said as he walked up to the stranger. The stranger nodded with a warm vibe. "Have you been watching me this whole time?" Cole asked.

"I don't know what you mean by that, but I happen to notice you walking down the road. I wanted to see how long it would take before you would notice me!" The stranger enthusiastically said.

Cole saw the stranger hop over the fence and fall on their back. Cole quickly kneeled down to the stranger's side; he shrieked seeing the stranger fall on their back. "Are...are you okay? Did you hurt your back?"

"Oh no I didn't, it's just like I hopped on my bed!" The stranger explained happily. They sat up to look at Cole directly.

Cole was nervous to ask the stranger anything, but he felt like he had to be somewhat polite to them at the very least. "W...well my name is N- Newman...Cole Newman, what's your name? If you want to tell me of course."

"Certainly! It's nice to meet you Cole, my name is Yuna!" She shook Cole's hand.

Cole didn't expect this; he pulled his hand away after they were done shaking hands. There was a hay bale with the shape of a cuboid, Cole and Yuna decided to sit on it. It turned out to be made of cotton; it surprisingly didn't disassemble when their weight was put on it.

"So...where do you live?" Cole asked.

"Oh, see all the way out there? That home out in the distance, yeah I live there! It's pretty quiet and peaceful, I like it." Yuna said.

She points to a home made of wool in the distance, it was in open plains. From the look of things, it would seem peaceful if one were to live in the area they were in. Cole slowly looked back up at Yuna. He was still nervous to ask anything. "Well...do you have any loved ones? Like...parents?" Cole asked.

"Well yeah, I have a family! They told me to stay here...they haven't come back for two weeks. But, I'm sure they'll come back tomorrow!" Yuna said optimistically. She looked down at Cole. The boy adjusted his glasses while looking up at the crochet doll.

"W...well, I ehm...don't know if they will return...but, don't give up." Cole reassured Yuna.

"Oh really? W...well thanks. I've never met a stranger, as nice as you. Not every stranger I meet tends to treat me with dignity. I...I just wish most people would treat me better." After hearing this from Yuna, Cole looked down and took a deep breath.

He went to look back up at Yuna. "Well, what would you see if you were given dignity?" Cole asked.

"See? Well, if I saw dignity...I would feel more equal to others, I would feel like I'd matter. I would feel like I wasn't lower than others, especially when I try to be nice to others...anyways that's a little much! That's what I'd see if I saw dignity!" Yuna explained as she fell off the cotton hay bale and started to roll down one of the roads.
