Y/n: Eve, what are you doing? The test is about to start.
Evie is rummaging through her red purse looking for something, when Mr. Deley walks up to us.
Mr. Deley: Looking for something? (He says while holding Evie's magic mirror.) Thank you, Chad. (Chad looks at Evie with a smug face.) It's gratifying to see someone still respects the honor code. It will be my recommendation that you are expelled.
Evie: Mr. Deley, I...
Doug: But that isn't fair. Obviously she wasn't cheating since she didn't have that... Whatever it is.
Evie: It's called a magic mir...
Y/n: Evie, stop. You're not helping.
Doug: Maybe she needed another pencil.
Evie: Actually, I was....
Doug: Really, don't help. (Doug turns back to Mr. Deley.) Please.
Evie: Please.
Evie gives me a pleading look. I sigh.
Y/n: Please Mr. Deley. I promise you that Evie isn't the type of girl who cheats.
Mr. Deley: Well, If you can pass this test, I'll return your property and let the matter drop.
Evie smiles and hugs Doug.
A few hours later
The Picnic Area
Doug and I are sitting at a picnic bench, I'm sketching in my sketchbook when Evie comes up behind Doug and puts her chemistry test in front of his face.
Evie: For the first time, It's like I'm more than just a pretty face.
Doug: A shocker, huh?
Y/n: Wait, wait, wait! Let me see, let me look!
I say with a smile as I put down my stuff and snatch the paper from her hands and see she's gotten a B+
Y/n: Oh my Gods E! I told you that you were smarter than you thought!
I say excitedly.
Evie: Thanks Y/n. (Evie turns back to Doug and sits down inbetween him and I.) You were pretty great in there.
Doug: So were you.
Evie: I bet I can get an "A" on the next test without the mirror.
Doug: Yeah. Well, maybe we can get together and hang out with...
Evie: Yeah, let's get together.
I chuckle at how cute the two were being, but then I hear Mal yell as she approaches us.
Mal: There you's are! I have been looking for you's literally everywhere!
Evie & Y/n: What's wrong?
Mal: Ben just asked me out on...a date.
Doug: Nice.
Y/n: Oh ....this one's all your's Eve....
I say as I lean back and continue my sketch.
Evie: We can handle this.
Y/n: Oh! E! I have a new dress that I made, it's on the mannequin in my room. You can use that for Mal.
