Muffins And Whiskey (Triplets #1)

Prologue

TWO boys are hiding under the duvet inside their room, sitting in their king size bed while trembling in too much fright at the movie that they're watching. The big flatscreen TV is flashing the movie The Autopsy of Jane Doe. The whole room was enveloped with thrilling  music. The two boys thought that the movie can't scare them but truly they don't know themselves. They are both scaredy cats.

Phuwin held his best friend's hand tightly when the father and son ran for their life when light turned off and the dead body in the morgue went to life and started chasing them. The two boys slightly close their eyes and held hands together like they are praying for something. The scenes became more intense that made the two stiff with their close eyes, even the sound of their breath scares them. They didn't bother to get the remote from the bedside table and turned off the tv. They just hide themselves under the duvet hugging each other and praying for somone to enter the room.

Since they turn the volume to 95 the whole room filled with this creepy and jumpscare music. The two groans and cried at the same time, calling each other's name and calling their mother's name.

They breathe in relax when the horror sound faded so they thought it was over, they peek their head from the duvet the same time that the ghost appear in the screen. Their loud screams engulfed the room.

"AAAHHHHH"

"MOMMMM, DADDDD"

The music from the movie subdued by their loud scream. Fourth hugged Phuwin's body and cried together. They heard someone opened the door but they're still in their position so they can't say who entered the room. Someone killed the movie and tapped their cold bodies.

"I already turned off the tv Phu, you can open your eyes now" said the deep voice 

Hearing his brother's voice. Phuwin and Fourth open their wet eyes, Seeing his twin Dunk standing at the end of the bed made Phuwin run to hugged him and cried nonstop. Gemini his other twin and his friends just shook their heads for what happened.

"They really have the guts to watch that movie, even a jellyfish that doesn't have a heart would get scared for that movie" First laugh at Phuwin and Fourth that he earned a smack in his head from Joong and a death glare from Gemini.

He awkwardly exited from the scene and leave them in a hallway in front of Phuwin's room. The boy is still clinging to his brother, he might be the second child in the three of them but Phuwin is more like a baby. He is a soft and vulnerable person that made everyone's around him overprotective. Gemini caress his brother's hair and shoot a plain stare to Fourth who is also with his teary eyes.

"Next time don't watch horror movies if you'll just get scared" Dunk gently said while walking to the living room

Phuwin and Fourth nodded their heads at the same time. Dunk had these sunshine rays around him that made him glow even in the dark, he looks like a boy who can't even hurt a fly. He is everyone's sunshine.

He balance the different energy of his twins, Gemini the savage and the baddest while Phuwin the soft and the vulnerable one.

He handle his twins in a way of being fair, very demure, very sunshine, and very compose.

Phuwin jumped out of his brother's body and sat on the sofa beside Fourth. The two of them started munching the nachos and pizza on the table pair it with a cold orange juice since Dunk is so strict about softdrinks. Their friends continue playing PS5 with First and Khao. They are some na of Gemini's friends that also become their family's close friends, Gemini had this likes of having older friends. Since most of them are older to him like one or two years but he just treated them just fine, like his age.

His twin said that having matured friends can help your maturity that's why Gemini always question him about his close relationship with Fourth, he said the boy is too clumsy, spoiled and so much of a baby to his mother. Phuwin just shrugged at him everytime he is bitching with Fourth, he doesn't know why Gemini doesn't like his bestfriend so much. He would always caught Gem glaring at Fourth that made the latter shiver and scared.

Phuwin genuinely likes Fourth because he can relate to him. They're friends and it will stay in that way.

Munching the pizza, he and Fourth shared a meaningful look as they seated at the single sofa and whispering something.

"Phu I think Gem really hate me" Fot said in a lonely tone

The boy is looking at Gemini who is drinking with his friends, his body rests at the backrest of the sofa while gulping his beer. He can see the hopelessness in his friend's eyes, Those two cute brown eyes are about to cry again that's why he cupped Fourth's face before the tears will fall. He can't let his best friend cry in front of his jerk brother.

"Just ignore him Fourth, don't let him ruin our night" Phuwin said before glaring at his twin that made Gemini withdraw his stare

The house filled with noises of Gemini's friend slash cult because they all look like a cult who likes to wear black shirt and pants that worship the god of alcoholism. Dunk seated beside him and pat his hair that made Phuwin giggle. His older twin is always been his safe paraiso, even though their parents are always absent but the three of them are enough for him.They are aprt of the broken family, his mother and father got divorced since they're eight years old and now his father aleady had his own family which leave his mother to raise them alone. Nevertheless, he didn't hold any grudges to his father unlike Gemini who's very affected about the separation and treated both of their parents cold, they didn't choose to have this situation where they will live everyday without a father by their side and having a mother that is busy with her job. They really appreciate their mother's effort because they knew that their mom got it hard while raising them all by herself. She's a strong woman. A very very strong mother.

After a few hours of their drinking, playing and eating session, Gemini's friend finally went to bed, they're sleeping at the guest room like they always have everytime they're hanging out. Phuwin tried to wake up Fourth who's deeply in his dreamland but no matter how he shake his body and call out his name the boy won't fudge. He can't carry him because of his weight, Fourth might look cute and small but don't get fool, he is heavy. Phu scratch his nape in frustration because he can't just let his friend sleep at the sofa it'll be uncomfortable. He also can't ask help from Dunk because his brother is probably checking the whole house if it's lock and turning off the lights.

"Gem can you carry Fot to my room please" Phu tried his last card by pleading Gemini.

A loud sigh released from his twin.

"Stop giving me a puppy eyes Phu it's creeping me out" he roll his eyes at him but proceed to give him thanks

He went first to his room and went to bed, his eyes are really droppy like any moment it will pop out from it's socket. While waiting for Fourth, he opened his phone to have a quick check on his IG. At the moment that he open it he was welcomed by a post that punch his heart.

It was a picture of his crush, kissing his girlfriend with a caption 'Self distraction'

He stared at the post for a couple of minutes only stopped when Gemini opened the door and dropped Fourth in the bed.

"Thank you Gem, goodnight" he said in a smile

His twin nodded at him and kissed his forehead that warmed his heart before glancing at the man sleeping beside him before walking out the door. A little smile formed on his lips the whisper in the air.

"Looks like all your efforts are not in vain Fot" his heart is leaping in happiness knowing that his best friend's craziness won't be wasted.

To erase the bitterness in his heart he commented on the photo

Look good together :)

He turned off his phone after and forced himself to sleep, hoping that tomorrow will be also a good day.
