"what are you gonna do now that we don't have dinner plans?"

"i don't know but i'm home alone and i'm bored as hell"

since yunho's parents had suddenly left, dinner with jongho's family had been postponed.

"you are huh? why don't you invite mingi over?" even if jongho couldn't see his face, he was sure yunho was red as a tomato. which he was but wouldn't admit.

"jongho! you can't say that, we've barely started talking for us to do that kind stuff"

jongho smirked. "what kind of stuff? i never said anything but i won't judge your dirty mind"

"i-i didn't mean it like that, you're the one that's always being a pervert!" yunho shouted through the phone obviously panicking.

"jeez, calm down i was just joking, but i do think it's a good idea to invite mingi over, you guys could watch a movie or just get to know each other more. don't loose this opportunity idiot"

"are you sure? what if he thinks it's too fast? what if he says no?"

yunho heard a loud sigh through the phone, one that voiced jongho's frustration with the older.

"stop overthinking and ask him before he makes plans. i gotta go my moms are asking for me, good luck bro!"

and just like that jongho was gone, leaving yunho in a trance. he walked all around his room, occasionally sitting down but then immediately getting back up because another thought would pop into his head.

'it's okay yunho. you can do this!'

the brown-haired boy took a deep breath before he pressed the call button on mingi's contact.

"hey!"

as soon as yunho heard the younger he started panicking. i mean yeah, he's talked to him before but now that he had a purpose, it was completely different. "oh...uhh hi" yunho said before a prolonged silence.

"hello? yunho?"

"oh i- i'm sorry, i just... i had something to ask you" why was he stuttering so bad?

"don't worry, what's up?"

"um i was wondering if you wanted to uhh... come over? my parents are out of town and it sounds like a good opportunity to you know?"

"oh.. sorry to what?"

yunho traced back to his words and realized how perverted he sounded even if that wasn't his intention.

"oh no no! not to you know, just to like talk and maybe watch a movie or you know, i mean not you know!!"

a muffled laughed could be heard through the phone, making yunho cringe at how stupid he sounded. "it's okay if you don't want to" his rarely small voice muttered.

"no no! i would love to! should i bring snacks and stuff?"

"uhh yeah that'd be nice, you can come over at 8 if that's okay. just give me some time to clean the house."

"of course! i'll meet you then, byeee!"

as soon as mingi hung up, yunho let put a breath he didn't know he was holding. now he would just have to clean up and get ready, maybe that'd take away his nerves.

it was now a quarter till eight and yunho was ready. since he wanted to be as respectful as possible, he decided they were going to watch movies in the living room instead of his bedroom. he turned off all of the lights and hung up some fairy lights his mom had in the storage closet. the couch was filled with soft cushions and plushies he had brought from his room as well as a soft mint green blanket. there was a small center table where he had put bowls and coasters because if he didn't use one, his mom would definitely murder him.

as soon as he gave the cozy room its finishing touches, the doorbell rang, making him slightly startled. he wiped his sweaty hands on his white pants and walked to the door nervously. as soon as he opened it, he was met with the most beautiful sight he had ever seen. mingi's hair was messy and untamed but somehow he looked absolutely ethereal. he was wearing a dark green hoodie and some comfy grey sweatpants. in one hand was a grocery bag and in the other a... small gym bag?

"hi, come in!" yunho said, too loudly from excitement.

"thanks!"

mingi came in and settled the snacks on the coffee table before hugging his gym back and looking up at yunho with big doe eyes.

"what's with the bag?" yunho asked curiously.

"oh this? i uh, i was wondering if i could stay over?"

"oh, yeah of course! is something wrong at home or..?"

"not exactly. you know my parents are back and they don't spend much time relaxing when they're on their business trips so when they come back they always take the night to have fun, if you know what i mean"

"huh? what do you— ohhh"

"yeah. so i'd rather stay here if that's okay with you."

"yeah sure, i don't have a guest room but you can sleep on my bed and i'll take the couch down here"

"you're not gonna sleep in your own room?"

"nah, i have a twin bed so you can take it"

"oh okay" mingi couldn't hide the disappointment on his face but he decided to just change the subject.

"you did all this?" yunho who was getting the snacks ready when he looked up at the younger, whose eyes were filled with awe.

"yeah.. i hope it's not too much"

"no it's perfect! you're amazing yunho"

a light blush crept up yunho's face and he cleared his throat before standing up. "thanks mingi, we can sit down now, everything's ready!"

both boys made way to the comfy couch and settled before getting under the warm blanket. they got a little closer so they could both share, their shoulders were now brushing against each other. as they started watching the movie, which yunho had chosen to be spider-man and mingi had been forced to agree, the latter couldn't help but glance at the taller and smile when he would get excited at the action scenes. everything was so perfect about him. at the court he always seemed so strong and bold but here, right now in this moment, he looked so calm and soft. he had a white lounge set that fit loosely around his frame but he could still see how his slightly muscular arms defined under the sleeves. his brown hair fell over his forehead almost covering his eyes. he was just so perfect.

mingi slowly reached for the remote and pressed off, making yunho look at him with surprise and irritation.

"why did you do that?!" yunho yelled clearly  annoyed.

"because i want your attention on me."
