15. commitment

darkness surrounded the two boys as they laid in each others arms, their bodies as close to each other as possible making their breaths mix before releasing into the air above them.

yunho's manner of sleeping didn't seem to change at all, his limps were wrapped tightly around mingi's body. the almost suffocating feeling woke mingi up, his survival mode on after freeing from the entangling man. he stood on the side of the bed for a while before looking back at yunho who was peacefully sleeping.

even if it was day already. the only window in yunho's bedroom was blocked by a huge three that let barely any light come inside. it made the atmosphere intimate and cozy, something that made the blonde boy feel at peace. he laid down again as yunho shuffled to the side to make some room.

"when did you wake up?" yunho mumbled, sleep still laced in his voice.

"just a few minutes ago baby" mingi responded almost immediately and landed a kiss on the taller's forehead.

before he could release, yunho wrapped his arms around him pulling him in for a warm tight hug.

"i like that, when you call me baby."

"really?" mingi teased sarcastically.

"oh shut up" yunho placed a soft kiss on the others hair before letting go of the younger and sitting up. he glanced at mingi with his face full of determination before he started talking again.

"mingi, i want to talk about last night."

the shorter's smile dropped, he imagined the worst even if there was no reason to. yunho had even liked his request from last night and after that, they just took a shower and went to bed cuddling.

"what about it?" he asked with hesitation.

"i just wanted to clarify something. i know it was your first time ever doing anything sexual with someone else but i'm glad that someone was me. i want you to feel comfortable around me and i want to talk about boundaries and all that stuff but first i want to ask you something very important."

mingi's gaze seemed to soften and he nodded slowly, telling yunho to go ahead.

"can i be your boyfriend?"

not even the darkest of rooms could hide mingi's bright smile. he launched at yunho and hugged him tight. "yes, yes you can!"

yunho hugged back without being able to contain his laugh at how cute the other behaved. when he let go, yunho cupped mingi's face and smushed it before kissing him on the lips.

"thank you" yunho said.

"i should be the one thanking you. thank you for being patient and understanding with me"

"it's just the bare minimum princess, from now on i'll try my hardest to make you happy with me" yunho kissed him one more time before he removed his hands from mingi's face.

"i already am."

"park seonghwa?"

"i'm here!"

seonghwa was at yonsei university. he had gone for a second orientation since his major had a separate building he hadn't been able to tour before.

"oh hi, this here is kim hongjoong, he's one of our student leaders and he'll show you around. is that okay with you?"

seonghwa nodded before his eyes widened when he looked at the male next to the faculty member. it was the same guy from the amusement park. the ticket booth guy.

hongjoong offered a smile before he started walking and seonghwa followed.

"i'm sorry the weather is gloomy today, it doesn't do justice to the school campus at all" as soon as hongjoong talked seonghwa's face was painted with a smile. oh how long he'd been wanting to hear that voice again.

"oh it's not your fault, i've seen this campus countless times when it's sunny outside, i know it's beautiful."

hongjoong nodded and then suddenly looked back at him stoping on his tracks abruptly. "you're very enthusiastic, i like that."

"thanks" seonghwa started blushing at the comment.

"you know, you look familiar. have we met before?" hongjoong asked as he turned around and continued walking again.

unable to answer, seonghwa just hummed.

"i know! the amusement park! you're that cute guy form the ticket booth"

if seonghwa was blushing before, now his face looked like tomato.

"see? cute."

"you're not so bad yourself" seonghwa said immediately regretting his choice of words.

"wow! you're really not good at giving compliments huh?"

"i'm so sorry, i didn't mean it like that. you're very beautiful and your style is everything, i'm serious!"

it was now hongjoong's turn to blush at the other's words. "thank you, it's really nice to hear that last part coming from a fashion major."

"of course, well i'm just being honest. what about you, your major?"

"art, most specifically music."

"that's amazing, i sing from time to time but i'm not as good as i wished."

"oh i'm sure you are good, let's do a duet sometime, here let me give you my number"

seonghwa nodded and handed his phone to the shorter male. it was as if his dreams were coming true.

"now come on! this is my favorite building in the whole university"

they both continued walking and seonghwa wasn't able to hide the smile on his lips. his heart was racing a little bit but with good reason.
