Raised By A Vampire

Chapter 5

Hazel appeared outside her house, she looked around and felt that something was off. Heading inside, she couldn't find anything out of place, but Damon wasn't home yet. She couldn't hear anyone in the house. Pulling out her phone, she text Damon. She would just sit on the couch until she heard from him. 

It didn't take long, the front door opened, and Damon entered. "What's going on?" Hazel asked.

He shushed her as Rose entered behind him, "You just couldn't stay away". Those two were catty with each other. 

Hazel still felt like something was off. When the window broke in the other room, she pulled her wand. "Day, what's going on?" 

"Werewolf" he muttered just as they found what had broken the window. There was a werewolf in the living room. 

The wolf lunged for Damon, Rose pushed it off and the wolf went to bite her. Hazel sent a knockback jinx, and the wolf flew off. It turned and growled at Hazel, but she sent a cutting hex, and the wolf ran and jumped back out the window. 

Damon rushed over, "Are you okay?" Hazel nodded and they turned to look at a terrified Rose. She nodded she was too. 

Hazel smacked Damons arm, "Did you piss off a werewolf?" He could only nod. "I'm going to bed" she huffed and stomped up the stairs.

Locking up the moonstone, Hazel thought back to that alley. What were the odds? her luck could sometimes be really good or really bad.

She needed to figure out a way to get Klaus to listen. She knew he would eventually come for Elena but maybe she could get to him before he tries to kill her. She would need to figure out if she could do anything to help, it couldn't be that difficult to break that witch's curse. 

Hazel finished washing her face and crawled in bed, she was asleep quick. Her dreams were different than usual. Normally she would dream of the war, but this wasn't even close. It seemed like she was pulled into another moonstone vision. Maybe this could help her find something out.

Hazel can only watch what is happening, she can't interact and she's honestly not sure why she is seeing this. The man from the apartment and the man from the alley are both there. The brothers from the first vision. Hazel watches them interact, they were practicing with swords. The older man from before appears, he's angry but it seems he's only angry with Niklaus. She feels bad for the younger man. It seems the older man is their father, that's no father, he's a monster.  

The scene changes to a blond girl standing next to Niklaus, she's trying to comfort him. Hazel's not sure what happened but he's upset. Another brunette man appears, they were all siblings. She thought back to the first vision she was shown, why did their father treat one child so different?

The scene changes to Niklaus carrying a boy, he was screaming for help. Hazel finally found why and had to hold back a scream. The poor boy had been mauled. She quickly followed to where the others were. The older man was blaming Niklaus, the whole family was distraught, and he was being a dick. When he moved to hit Niklaus, Hazel tried to stop him but couldn't. This wasn't right, it wasn't his fault the boy was dead. 

The scene changes again, Hazel was getting whiplash from this shit. She walked towards the woman from the first vision, their mother. She was standing with another woman and begging her to help save the rest of her children. The two women began to mix something before the mother walks out with a bowl. Hazel catches up to her, she's with her husband now, talking about saving the children. Hazel has to hold back a sneer, these people were despicable. She watched as the siblings all sat in their hut, drinking what their parents had told them to. Hazel screamed when the father stabbed his children. How could he do that! Hazel had seen monsters before and knew this man was one.
