Hazel like hiking with Nik, exploring the mountains in the US. This was so much better than her last 'camping' trip. "So, do you think these wolves will be receptive to your offer?"

"Hopefully" Nik replied, looking over to her, he smirks, "Are you enjoying yourself?"

Hazel looked up from the collection of new potions ingredients to him. "I am" she smiles, "These are unique ingredients. I can't pass them up." Just as she was about to say more, Nik tackled her to the ground.

"Stay down" he was trying to find whoever just shot at them. Making sure Hazel wasn't hit, he slowly crouched over her. Movement caught his eye, and he flashed towards the attacker. Nik caught the man and gripped him by the neck, "Why did you have to make this difficult?" Niks Hybrid face was on full display and terrifying the wolf in his grip.

Hazel brushed the dirt off herself, walking over to Nik. "Don't kill him, you can use him to show the others."

"What are you?" the wolf wheezed.

Nik smiled, showing off his fangs, "I'm here to offer your pack a chance of never having to shift ever again."

The wolfs eyes widened, looking to Hazel, he said "You're not a wolf."

Hazel shook her head, "Nope. I'm here to watch" smiling sweetly, she asked "Will you take me to your pack? Hopefully you can all be free of your curse before moonrise."

The wolf blushed but nodded, "Of course, I'll show you."

Nik was glaring but Hazel walked up and took his hand. "Come on, let's get you some more Hybrids." He nodded, keeping her hand in his, they followed the wolf.

Hazel watched Nik as he spoke with the wolves. He was explaining the process before he started. She couldn't help but notice how well he commanded others. He was the alpha of all Hybrids though, so it shouldn't have surprised her. They had only had one argument so far and it was when she realized he had assigned her bodyguards. It was hard for her to stay mad at him though, he had promised Day he would keep her safe. When the wolves began to line up, she realized Nik was starting.

Nik had just snapped the last wolfs neck when Hazel stepped up next to him. Looking down at her, she was holding out a blood bag to him. He hadn't realized she had even brought any blood, "Thank you luv."

Hazel smiled up at him, "I figured you could use it after all that" she motioned to the wolves, "So, after here, where do we go?"

"We'll find a place to stay tonight, then head towards Washington. I know of a few packs out that way."

"Sounds good. I've only been to Virginia, New York and North Carolina so I'm up to see more of the lovely America."

Nik was about to say something but one of the wolves was waking up. Taking the vial Hazel held out, he walked over to him. "Drink" the man did as he was told, eyes changing. As more began to wake, he repeated the process.

Hazel could see how happy this was making Nik. He had wanted an army to keep his family safe and now he had it. One of the new Hybrids approached her.

"So, are you with him?"

"No, we're friends. I helped him break the curse so he's letting me tag along. He doesn't see me that way." Hazel explains.

The newbie Hybrid gave her a curious look, "So, are you seeing anyone? I can't imagine a boyfriend being okay with you spending so much time with another man."

Hazel froze, what was this man really asking? Surely, he wasn't hitting on her. Looking at him suspiciously, she replied, "I'm not seeing anyone but even if I was, it wouldn't matter. I would still be here with Nik."
