Nik laughed at Elijah when Hazel pulled into the driveway, blasting her music. "I may have forgotten to mention, Hazel likes to listen to hard rock, loudly."
Elijah groaned, glaring at the loud SUV that had just parked. "She won't drive with it down, will she?"
"No, sorry brother. She even took over my radio, we had only met twice by then."
Hazel smiled through the open window, "Let's go gentlemen! We have somewhere to be, let's not be late!"
Nik smiled back and got into the front seat while Elijah got into the back. "Hello luv, no issues this morning?"
"I was subjected to ten minutes of Stuffy this morning. I could have done without that."
"You didn't have to be pulled from him again, did you?" Nik asked curiously. Elijah watched his brother and Hazel interact, it was still surreal to him how Nik was with her.
Hazel laughed, "Not this time. I believe he's realized I'm more powerful than him."
"I'm pretty sure the broken nose sent the message clearly." Nik laughed, "I wonder if Kol will be your next victim. He's one to push boundaries."
Elijah snorted, "That would be amusing to see."
All conversation ended when Hazel turned the radio up and began to sing to the music. Nik had to hold his laughter at his brothers silent suffering. He was used to Hazel and her antics by now so he enjoyed the show.
~~~
Elijah had never been happier for a car ride to end. Hazel was a great singer, her music choice could definitely be better. The fact that Niklaus didn't even seem irritated about the whole situation, that was just another thing that surprised him.
Walking through the cemetery, Elijah followed behind Niklaus and Hazel. Neither even acted like he was there, they were so absorbed in their own conversation. It was very interesting.
Hazel came to a stop, there was a crypt, and all of her spells were pointing to it. Looking up to Nik, she says, "He's in there." She watched as the brothers opened the heavy door and looked in cautiously. Sighing, she walked past them both, rolling her eyes at them. Both men hurried after her.
"What are you doing" Nik growled, grabbing her arm.
Hazel glared back, "Neither of you were moving so I did!"
Elijah rubbed the bridge of his nose, "Hazel, we are supposed to keep you safe, please let us."
Sighing, she nodded, "Well, gentlemen first then."
Elijah walked forward, Nik followed, still holding onto Hazel. They noticed the cement coffin and froze.
Nik let go of Hazel and moved to stand with Elijah. "Shall we?" Elijah nodded and both moved forward, removing the lid. They could only stare, there was Mikael, wrapped in chains and desiccated.
"This shit's like something out of a horror movie, Dracula, for example." Hazel says, looking Mikael over.
Nik snorted, "You would pick that movie." She smiled up at him, cheekily. Nik looked to his brother, "Do we wake him or kill him while he sleeps?"
Elijah shrugged but Hazel answered for them, "Wake him. I want to see the fear in his eyes when he dies." Both mens heads jerked to her with wide eyes. Hazel had an evil grin on her face.
When his brother nodded, Elijah stepped forward and dropped five drops of blood into his father's mouth. They waited, watching him. Mikaels eyes popped open, he hadn't been given enough blood to allow him to break free, only enough to open his eyes and speak.
