"She's difficult. And Ungrateful."

"Nothing that I appear to do for her she appreciates, Rose."

Elijah said with his back turned and pointing a finger at Rose while speaking by a fireplace that wasn't burning and hitting the top of it with his fist and the palm of his hand.

"I should have expected this, but I underestimated her and myself. And believe me, I never underestimate anyone, nor women."

Rose stood there quietly and raised her eyebrows up at that statement, that Elijah made in the same boot heels she wore and the same clothes.

"All women, Rose, find me striking, and cannot resist me."

"She is lucky, that I do not go up there,(Elijah put a hand up to the ceiling as Rose looked up too at his hand going up, as he was speaking and in anger) this very minute and...."

But Elijah calmed himself and looked at Rose as she stared at him and he smiled and brushed himself with his hands on his suit and fixed the buttons.

"She tests me, Rose. Puts, me to the point and a point, where, she will make me show her a side of me, that will make me lose my patience and temper with her!"

But Elijah calmed himself down again and cracked his head to the left and right. Rose watched her master, never seeing him act like this or overly to the point he was raising his voice and shouting. But Rose just stood, and quiet.

Elijah still stood

"Women, are just so difficult. Hard to Please. So angered, disrespectful, and disobedient. They have no sense of control! No sense of knowing how much that we men have to offer them and so lay it freely. We shelter you. We work, and bring you food, and put it on the table. Build you glorious houses and put roofs over your head, and You, are Still Not Grateful! You are unsatisfied. Unsatisfactory!

"Well," Elijah raised his hands and put his hands up

"What, she doesn't understand, is that I am solely keeping her here, to enjoy a luxurious life. One where she will not, only, benefit from enjoying my company and getting anything that she wants and desires, that I can provide for her. But to be, safe, from the world out there. Which is certainly not safe, without an ounce, of my protection. She doesn't know, nor do the humans, here in this unpleasant and unfamiliar place to me.

(Elijah looked around saying that in disgust)

"My, have the times changed, in this new day and era."

"Rose, I plan on selling that house after you have finished, furnishing it, and remodeling.

Rose couldn't believe Elijah said that.

"Besides, when I do go back, but, not at this moment. I will have a better home and a better house, that I can settle in."

"And, I haven't a clue, where Niklaus is. Probably, for the best, that I don't know, of his activities. He has caused too much trauma in my life, and our family. Yes, I do not want to know at this moment. I just want to stay hidden away from him and the filth of that town, and away. I just want to settle here and be alone and at peace. I find it relaxing and calming. I'll return there when I am good and ready."

"She is up there right now, Rose still be showing me such a lack of respect, and still crying, AND, refusing me kindness."
