Tempting Danger and An Offer One Can't Refuse

Chapter 10

"Neryssa, I have lunch for you."

Rose came back later with lunch and in her hands and she said, 

"Wait until you see the dress, that I have picked."

"You are going to love it. And, I know Elijah, will be pleased."

"Will he?"

Rose looked at me

"Of, course, he will."

"Here, eat your lunch, and drink."

"Sorry, that I took so long."

"Elijah insisted that I get the dress first."

Rose set the tray down in front of me, as I looked at her and she smiled as she stood and my chains reached. As, she watched standing, with her hand on her hip.

"See, didn't I tell you that once, you start to come around, and start to be nice, that Elijah will do anything, for you."

I looked up at Rose, as I drank and ate the food. I was very hungry.

It was a sandwich and a salad. Better, than absolutely, nothing, at all. I was glad that he had approved for me to have something and to eat.

"Now, I will go and grab the dress. And, I'll let you eat and then we can talk more "

I looked at Rose as she seemed to be a little bit happier than how she was before she got the dress and was that a smile? Something, wasn't right. Just, by the fact that she was more happy? But, I was silent as I just focoused on my eating and chewing 

"Well, Rose?"

"She's, eating, Elijah."

"Good."

"Excellent, I knew, I could count on you Rose."

"What else, do you have to report?"

"She asked a lot of questions Elijah."

"Such as, about..."us."

Elijah stopped walking

"Us, Rose?"

"I'm sorry, Elijah. I told her that we were vampires and just so you know. I put a stop to it, when she asked about you."

"And, what did she ask?"

"Questions about how I, but mainly you became vampires. I swear, I told her nothing."

"Oh, Rose."

"Please, Elijah, she's more calmer and better now. I think, she likes talking to me."
