Tempting Danger and An Offer One Can't Refuse

Chapter 7: A Mutal Understanding and Celeste Dubois

Elijah came back from hunting and killing. He opened the door and closed it. He then listened for Neryssa. As he walked downstairs and looked up. Elijah immediately sensed and smelled something. He hurriedly, went to the stairs and uncloked the lock immediately and went upstairs to her, to see that she was laying down, but rose and she immediately saw him and was in fear backing into the metal headboard. But, he saw her scared and in fear. He didn't see anything on the left of the bed and looked around the room. He then looked to the right side and saw that she had threw up and she covered her mouth afraid that he might hurt her and tears.

"Please, I'm sorry."

Elijah closed his eyes, and opened them at the apology in her voice that was not needed.

"Oh, Neryssa." Elijah said and he immediately went down the stairs fast and got some towels and a mop. He also got some disposable gloves and a bucket, a trash bag. He went to the cabinet and retrieved baking soda and detergent. He filled, the bucket with water.

Elijah immediately, went back up the stairs to the attic,  with his materials and started cleaning, the wodded floor near the bed. Neryssa was still afraid of him, and he knew this. He would let her be and leave here, until tomorrow morning. He saw her sitting on the bed, with her hands and fingers still grapsing the sheets, and her wrapping her arms around herself a lot . Neryssa was watching him clean.

She keot apologizing.

"You have nothing, to apologize for. It is me. I am the one, who should apologize for leaving you and for not controlling myself. I showed you a side of myself, that, I shouldn't have taken care if it. That side of me Neryssa is uncontrobalele. It is my dark side, my other half of myself and who I therefore am. And, who I will always be. But you won't have to worry about that anynmore. I have sealed it. You are safe."

  "I know, it's easier said than done, but, and which brings me to why, you must not so try and tempt me to become angry. When, I request or ask somethibg of you Neryssa, you must do it. In return, I will reward you, everyday, for how much of an effort you put in with me, not just to listen and follow every command, but that you will accept being in this house and attic."

"Unfortunately, I don't have any clothes or sleeping wear, for you. It will be taken cared of tomorrow."

"Will, I...go.."

But, he immediately stopped scrubbing and cleaning the floor as he heard me and what I was about to ask. He already knew. As he spoke, and his voice once again was cold and serious, this time.

"My answer, Nerysaa and from, what I have already told you countless of times. Still stands. It doesn't change, and it never will. So, do not ask me again. You will be living up here and in this house. This will be your home, and you will be up here, until otherwise. You will have meals with me and then you will accompany me downstairs. Then, it's right back up to the attic."

I was sad and silent, and even though he said I didn't need to worry or be afraid, I was still. And, more than I everxwas before, at him threatening me, not to test him or push him. Otherwise that monster side of him, I would see once again. I now stopped watching him cleaning. But he spoke to me. His back still to me.
