Ever since Emperor left to make his own friends back in Inkopolis, Prinz became the leader of Team Emperor!.... Or I guess now Team Prinz..
Of course since they couldn't battle with three members many and many! Inklings and Octolings tried to be in their team... Most failing besides one guy.
They all say it's because of his battle tactics but we all know it's because he's literally Prinz just.. cough yeah.
You and your team always battled against different teams, even Emperor's back when he was the team captain! You were oddly close to many different people from each teams... Either it being the Blue Team, S-4, and even Emperor's... You and Emperor weren't really the best to get along with since... Well yeah. Emperor back then was very VERY cocky and confident.. but I mean.. same.
You always got along with Prinz, Emperor's little brother. His personality along with Emperor's was a BIG difference. So after you heard from Prinz.. also SplatNews, that Emperor was leaving their team.. OF COURSE! You wanted to met their new teammate.
Currently you were walking in the streets of Splatsville. It was pretty calming... Normally the streets would be busy with Inklings being chaotic or Octolings trading cards... Or Wireglasses and Ocho getting naked.. God.. that image will never leave your head.. rip. Anyways. It wasn't busy since there was tournaments going on. The only place that was REALLY busy was the lobby. Octolings and Inklings waiting for their teammates or them trying to get their weapon back after being black labeled... Ahhh... Good times.. You won't get black Labeled anymore... Despite getting black labeled about probably 38 times... Either way you're a really good player. LMAO
You were going to go battle with your team but one of your teammates were sick... And trying to find a back up one in that crazy lobby? Nah. You decided to go to a drink place. You noticed the normally busy building with lines and lines going down to the road wasn't there! It's such a lucky day for you! I hope it doesn't go the complete opposite! 🥰😻🤗😝
You walked in and got a basic water.. WAIT WHAT can Inklings and Octolings even drink water?.. CAN THEY BATHE????? Scary. You sat at a booth in the back and just stared at the window- You weren't paying attention until you heard a recognizable voice.
"User? Oh! It is you!"
You turned to see Prinz, along with another Inkling you didn't register. You thought for a second that was Emperor... But no.
You smiled at the grinning boy before greeting him back. Mannn, Prinz got so confident in the new chapters💔😭
"Oh. I forgot to tell you, this is Laceless, the new member that you wanted to meet."
Thereee we go... No wonder the guy looked like Emperor. Just a whole different face.. You noticed how the boy, 'Laceless', looked... Embarrassed? Or shy? .... IS THIS ANOTHER PRINZ? You greeted Laceless with a smile which made him nod.

"Why are you here? I thought you would be in the tournament.."
You asked Prinz, glancing at Laceless.
"Oh. We're all on a break. Since no one is out we won't have any fans chasing us when we want to relax! It's nice."
Prinz responded back. You nodded with a smile, looking at Laceless as he dug his hands in his pockets.
"Oh! That reminds me. The author said I have to go somewhere in order for the story to progress... So be right back guys!"
Princz says, turning around and walking away with a wave as he leaves you with Laceless.
"Oh."
You mumbled out. You thought it was weird Prinz literally just walked away but then again last week you hit Shady with a pipe and then threw him into Wireglasses bed... Yeah.. Prinz isn't weird.

Plus when Sheldon keeps talking you threw his.. Definitely alive body in the river. But that's for another day :)
Laceless just glanced down at the ground, not even daring to look at you in the eye, his face still red...... Is he sick?
"Do you have a fever?"
You asked.
"H-Huh? No I don't..!"
Laceless said, his face going more red as he looked away from your gaze. He really didn't want to make eye contact with you.. You were completely confused. What's up with this guy?
You were about to say something until your phone started to ring which of course made you reach for your pocket, but because your phone was on the table you accidentally knocked it off and onto the floor. Laceless then went to grab it before actually somehow tripping on something. Laceless fell onto you as your phone was in his hand. Laceless's face went more red, not even daring to look at you. He kept mumbling apologizes.
"I- I'm sorry-! I didn't want to fall on you!- I-I'm sorry!-"
He continued mumbling apologizes, his face as red as a chili pepper. You watched Laceless turn around and walk away fastly..... Weird.
