Chapter 5 : The Perfect Future Husband.

Two weeks later.

Joshua didn't know what to feel, Seokmin was insane. His character took a drastic turn and he didn't know if he should be Scared or be happy that Seokmin was as invested in this Relationship than He was, it wasn't like he was hoping for other things but still deep down he felt this was not real.

It felt too Perfect, Seokmin was Too perfect. He will Send Messages to him about his Schedule in morning with a Casual greeting and "have a nice day, work hard." Added in the end.
Then another one during lunch, a message which showed that he was concern about his Health and he should eat on time and then last at night—

Joshua read all the messages, they were different yet similar. They were devoid of emotions. He wondered how These heartfelt message can sound so Distant and annoyance was what he felt, Seokmin was like A computer programme, it will work on time without Complaining until it was fed well.

He scolded himself for being paranoid but he can't push the worries aside, Seokmin never made any mistake and it all seems so unreal. When it was happening, he felt this uneasy feeling in heart. Seokmin was Taking several steps towards him so why did he felt like it was not something he want, he wanted something else. A deeper connection.
Seokmin wasn't indifferent anymore but he was still scared.

With all his Worries, he decided to bombard it on his bestfriend because he can't handle it anymore.
Jeonghan read all the messages and frown, he was A Psychologist by profession and he may have better ways to deal with his Paronia.

"I feel like it's all in my head, i mean it. I don't feel good with this. It all seems so fake and distant, normally we should feel happy but I'm not." he said while Jeonghan nodded.

"Your future husband need a therapy and so do you."  Jeonghan said while Joshua was ready to smack his head. The man can never stop being annoying even for a second.

"Jeonghan, I'm Serious here." Jeonghan sighed and nodded. He can't say anything without meeting or diagnose this situation with just texts it was not something good. He need to get a clear idea about what Seokmin is going through. He can't judge him simply.

"Call him for dinner tomorrow, cook for him and let's have our other friends over here and meet him." Joshua frowned at that, he didn't know if it was good idea or not but he nodded reluctantly.

"Trust me." He said while Joshua rolled his eyes.

"Trusting you had never done anything good to me, it only created more trouble." He said as the matter of fact but he can't deny that Jeonghan was the best choice looking at the current situation.

"Hyung, you are overreacting. I mean Seokmin is so good yet you are doubting his intentions." Soonyoung said, who happened be his assistant and a good friend as well.

"Soonie, it's Not that. I don't know But I feel like he have more things which he have kept hidden." Joshua said, trying hard to explain his misery.

"Are you feeling like you aren't good enough for him??" He said and Joshua froze in shock, it was that as well but something in his heart didn't settle well. He felt like he was taking Seokmin for granted because younger was always around and giving his all attention but sometimes he made mistakes, he found it suffocating to match the steps with Seokmin's well calculated and controlled one. It was hard to return the same feeling and he felt like it was burden now instead of How a normal relationship should be. He was afraid to let down the younger in future.

This week gave him several moments of breakdown, when the reality came crashing down him— he felt so incompetent. He was not used to be like this. Seokmin always responded on time with calmness and rare gentleness, he didn't even bother to get angry at him. This all scared him. Seokmin was too good for him. How can he continue this with so much burden on his shoulder??
He felt like one day Seokmin will just stop giving him response and ignore him— but Seokmin was Persistent.
Joshua was having second thoughts because he never met someone like Seokmin in his life, if he could he would have gone to ask Younger's Ex-boyfriend for an advise but it was such a absurd idea. Their wasn't any details but clearly written That he broke up with Ex-boyfriend because of some personal issue and never dated again.
Seokmin smoothly escaped that topic whenever Joshua brought, he felt like Seokmin was still not over it.

Though it was wrong, Seokmin was over it already. He never loved him enough to hold on to him for Longer time.

Seokmin stared at the message of Joshua, the contact saved as "Future Husband", he was doing great in his eyes not knowing about the turmoil which Joshua was going through.

He replied positively with some emojis, the guide of being Perfect husband was working smoothly. He need to be a better man for Joshua's satisfaction. After all, What else would he want from Him?? Now he needs to prepare himself, he have to Be a Good partner and maintain the facade in front of Joshua's friend. He can't let them think that he is not good enough for Joshua or don't deserve him.
