Chapter 30 : An unexpected Confrontation.

It has been few days after the promising date. Seokmin was totally Taken aback by his own so called Cliche confession. He cursed himself Internally, maybe Joshua Sensed his Inner Turmoil and laughed it off by saying, "indeed. It's very beautiful." After that day, they both Didn't Brought the topic back.

Joshua indeed became more Annoyingly adorable, he kept teasing Seokmin at every chance he got.

One fine morning when Seokmin woke up, he didn't see Joshua Around.

It was Surprising but he Didn't mind it, maybe the elder was busy or something. He got up and went to do his usual morning routine.

He also recited his own Schedule. He was going to have a busy day ahead.

After getting ready, he Went down to have breakfast, it was already prepared. He took his seat and sipped on his coffee while Checking his messages. He was glad to see one from Joshua who apologised to him about leaving without telling him and his excuse was "you were looking so cute that I didn't had the heart to disturb you.꒰⁠⑅⁠ᵕ⁠༚⁠ᵕ⁠꒱⁠˖⁠♡". Seokmin chuckled and continued Reading other messages.

He got one private message from Soonyoung: "is Hoonie really going on a Date?? You can't set him up with any Stupid man."

"Like did you see?? He isn't even half as handsome as me. What did you even saw when you decided to set up your brother with some leech??"

"Oh!! My god!! Is that my Jihoonie.. he is smiling— okay?? I may or may not have stalked your brother but it was for his safety. I don't really feel this is right. Seokmin you can't ruin your brother's life."

"Fûck!!!! Why are you not replying.?? I'm losing my mind. Don't tell me this bitch is taking Jihoonie back to his home. It's so late at night. How dare he???"

Seokmin laughed whole heartedly, seeing Soonyoung being riled up like that because of His brother's "date" was amusing. He saw it coming and last night the plan seemed to be succeeded.

Seokmin thought for a while before replying. "Don't worry, i will beg Jihoon to make you his best man when they get married. I can do small thing like that. After all you are his BESTFRIEND."

Seokmin knew his message was Anything but friendly but Soonyoung asked for it, it was all for Making His brother Go crazy. The man was good but it was his fault that he forgot everytime he confessed while being in drunken state. It was his little revenge for his cousin.

Seokmin was at his office, his mood was totally Distorted. 

In the conference hall he sat with All the major Shareholders, his Father, uncle and grandfather. He hated such Meetings most of time, it was Suffocating how they all try to Poke their nose in his matter and Give him advices and what not?? They were never satisfied and never let him have the control.

It was totally Absurd but he remained silent and listened to everything like always. He was in no position to stand up and get out of the room.

They all continued for so long. Seokmin's patience was thinning with time. Finally what it felt like eternity, it was over.

Seokmin sat in his office along with his "family".

"Seokmin, have you thought about What I told you last time??" His father broke the silence. Seokmin looked at the man, directly in his eyes.

"If you are talking about me making your illegitimate child as my Secretary, I'm not interested and I don't want him anywhere near me." He spoke coldy, this topic was always something he hated. He despised that woman who was his father's mistress and his illegitimate son who got all the love.

Even his father try to hide, Seokmin have seen this how his father always took that kid Out and Showered his fatherly love. He Scoffed at his memory when he met them By chance and after that he did a quick investigation which Was enough to shatter his all the hopes. His father was good father but not for him. At this point it was useless to even call him as Father, he wasn't even worthy of that TITLE.

Even being the legitimate son, he was Treated like he was A pawn in his game. A puppet was what he wanted him to be but Seokmin Learned to fight, he wasn't crazy enough to not Understand what is right or wrong. He knew and his hatred intensified for this existence of his Father— sperm donor.

"Seokmin, i never taught you to talk with me like that—" his father began but got cut off in between.

"Exactly, you never taught me anything. It was my mother and then the best teachers which you hired for me. You can't take the credits for something which you never did. So just shut up and stop threatening me. I'm not going to Listen to you." He said, his Voice Cold and stern.

"Stop being So selfish—"

"Ohhh, maybe i Learned it from you only. After all your blood run inside me as well. I guess it was you who was selfish enough and not satisfied with one wife that went to find another woman." His words filled with venom shocked the whole Family Of Lee.

Seokmin rarely talked back but this time it was not easy. He was serious and his voice held the Power which Sent shivered down the spine of People who sat in his office room.

He scoffed as he saw the Shocking expression. They should have seen this coming.

"Seokmin, If you think that Bringing that kid will threaten your position, you are wrong. I won't do that to you." His father Finally said, this time his voice was not Stern like always and Evil but soft. Seokmin laughed and that was definitely humourless.

"Tsk, you guys can't handle the rejection?? If that kid come anywhere near me. I will ruin everything." He threatened and stood up from his Place. His father was about to say something but someone Pushed the door open and Enter the room without asking permission. Seokmin almost Shouted but stopped as he saw His husband and maybe his husband was also equally shocked that he froze at his place for a second before composing himself.

"Seokmin." He said as he met the eyes Of younger who definitely didn't look happy at the moment. He frowned as he faced the Silence From Seokmin then he turned to greet Younger's family a bit Politely.

"Sorry for barging like that, i just came for Seokmin." Joshua said and before he others could respond Seokmin beat him to it.

"Why will you apologise to worthless people?? If they mind this, they can just Get out of this office. I am the boss here." Joshua was taken aback by Younger's indifferent towards his family, he knew that things weren't good but today it seemed that everything was wrong.

He glanced at Seokmin then to the other people who were definitely not liking the disrespect.

"Seokmin, stop disrespecting your family in front of outsider." His grandfather finally spoke and Seokmin laughed as he walked towards Joshua.

"He maybe an outsider for you but for me he is my Husband, so shut the Fûck up!!" He glared at the old man as he stood beside Joshua.

Joshua slowly slipped his hands to Seokmin, he Interwined it while squeezing them lightly. Seokmin welcomed the warmth and comfort which radiated from Joshua. It was totally good to have someone by your side like that.

Seokmin hated Everything and he knew he crossed all the line today but he didn't regret it. He wasn't interested in seeing the other family of his father. Call him pathetic or whatever, he don't give a damn but he would never accept those people even if they are nice or worthy. His hatred was deep rooted in his bones and it wasn't going to vanish by few Words.

"If you want your illegitimate son here, i will leave this For good." He announced before storming out of the office with Joshua.

He was done With this.

As he walked out, he called someone instantly.

"Jihoon Hyung, take aunty to your Personal apartment. I have created some Trouble here. It's emergency." He said and hung up after listening to postive reply from Other side.
