Chapter 6 : The Trouble in Perfect Marriage.

Next Day, Seokmin arrived at Joshua's apartment on given time. Joshua had already told him that he was sharing it with his bestfriend for time being because he disliked living Alone.

When he arrived, he felt his heart pounding at the sight. Joshua was standing by his side as he complained about how loud his friends were and they definitely made up a big mess living room already. He nodded in understanding and still trying to gather his thoughts, he disliked the sight. It was annoying him. The Pillow on Floor shouldn't be there instead they should be kept properly on Sofa, the eaten snacks were Scattered here and there because of the wildness of his friends, it was wrong. The Living room was definitely making him feel strange. He tried his best to not get affected and pretend to be normal. He wasn't going to judge any of them or even let his intrusive thoughts win.

Joshua got his friend's attention who were indulge in some stupid debate. They all turned to look at Seokmin and happily greeted him. Seokmin gave a small smile in return. He can Pass the night. He should. Joshua then started introducing his four Friends— "That's Jeonghan, be careful of him. He is Psychologist by profession but a con artist as well." Jeonghan glared at his bestfriend before giving a Assuring nod to Seokmin.

"Then next is Soonyoung, he is my assistant as well friend. This hamster looking like tiger was adopted by Jeonghan and hence that's how we met." Seokmin let out a hearty chuckle and Indeed Soonyoung's energy was contagious, it was good that he was held by someone else there or Seokmin would have been on floor by that hug which was coming towards him.

"The next is Mingyu, the tall tree who is holding the hamster and next to him is Seungkwan— the sassy one, don't try to talk with him much or you will get a Migraine because of his gossips." Joshua teased while the younger whined.

"One more is on the way, till then you can try to know them or just ignore because I myself— " Joshua was cut off, Jeonghan had already dragged Seokmin away, he Just sighed and hoped that Seokmin won't Lose his mind with these crazy People.

To Joshua's surprise, it was far better than he imagined. Seokmin dealt with his friends in a better way then he could imagine. It was more like Mingyu, Seungkwan and Soonyoung liked him way too much while Jeonghan smiled and Watch it. Joshua felt like he was really worried for nothing, he was just overthinking right??? If Seokmin can go to this extent to make his friends happy and Contended, he wasn't forcing himself right.? It was just a second thought in his mind. He should stop being paranoid and get used to this. Seokmin was kind and understanding, maybe the difference in personality scared him. He have never met someone like Seokmin that's why it scared him. His perfection scared him.

His thoughts were broken, when the doorbell rang again. He again went to open it for the last member of this group and then they can have dinner.
Soon he came back in the living room with a new Person, his Distinguish mullets and sharp facial structure with a defined aura couldn't help but made everyone in the Living room look at him in a surprise.

They all greeted him with a smile while Seokmin froze at his place, his eyes which were blank finally lit up.

"Seokmin..." Minghao mumbled and Seokmin finally Composed himself before waving his hand at him.

"Minghao, It has been long time." He greeted. a small yet genuine smile playing on his lips.

"You know eachother??" Joshua asked and he regretted it instantly because of Seokmin's straightforward reply.

"He is the one I dated during college days." Minghao was also taken aback but nodded, it was truth. Seokmin gave him good memories as well a certain amount of pain as well, though he didn't blame the younger still the break-up hurted him. Seokmin never loved him like he did.

The silence in the living room was loud until Soonyoung decided to break it, Joshua felt like everything was Over. It all came crashing down on his shoulder.
He had noticed that flicker and small stars in his eyes when he saw Minghao.
It was different from the way he looked at him. The more he thought, the more he felt that Seokmin and Minghao were perfect, they were definitely a powerful combo and them dating eachother Couldn't help but break his heart. He was feeling incompetent, the Self doubt grew more Stronger.

For the first time in his life, he doubted about him and that's all because of Seokmin, his worries didn't last longer. it seems Seokmin saw through him. He didn't say anything but came to him and gave a silent comfort. He didn't know what to expect?? He was overwhelmed with so many things and being with Seokmin scared him.

He was always confident about things but with Seokmin things seemed to be changed.
The younger was holding the power while he was losing himself. He hated that feeling but when the night Passed, he found Seokmin Just by his side.

"Hyung, your all friends are busy. Would you like to go for a walk with me??" He asked softly, Joshua found himself nodding to it. The Insecurities were breaking. Seokmin was too good but Joshua can try as well right? Maybe he will find something on the way.

"Sure thing."

The night wasn't that bad.

"Why did you and Minghao break Up.??" Joshua mustered up his courage and asked it finally.

"Dad told me about marriage alliance, being in relationship with him wasn't right anymore." He said truthfully.

Joshua snorted. "why didn't you fight for him??"

"I wasn't sure about my future with him, he was a good friend but i don't know about a partner. We had a great time but maybe i didn't love him enough to fight for him." Joshua nodded, The relationship was over and Seokmin wasn't much interested in that.

"Do you think, i will be a good partner.??" He asked as he turned to look at Seokmin directly, the Younger's eyes Flickered. He was Contemplating while Joshua Sighed.

"You don't need to force yourself Seokmin, if you want I can call this off." He Mumbled. Unsure of his own decision but still for younger, he will do it.

"Do you not like me?? If you think their is something wrong, do tell. I willl change." Seokmin said while Joshua frowned.

" I don't want a perfect husband, i want the real you. I don't know, you are just too good that it scares me and the more I think, the more i feel that's just A character which you made for yourself and it doesn't exist. It's real life and I can't live with this suffocating perfection." For the first time Seokmin's act was blown up and that too like this. He remained Rooted at his position while Joshua stared at him with a lot emotions. He raised his hand and ruffled Younger's hair.

As the elder's hand ran through his hair, Seokmin found some Knots vanishing. It was relaxing and he let himself enjoy it. That warmed his cold heart. Even this gentle action gave a sense of relief to him. Joshua wasn't angry, he was still smiling and waiting for Seokmin to say something.
In real it wasn't Seokmin who was perfect but it was Joshua.

"What actually Do you want??" Seokmin asked while Joshua frowned. The younger was still Not understanding him. Despite not getting the right response, he decided to not push the younger further.

"I read the file and got to know about few places which you like— I don't want to go to any of them, would you choose something else?? Not extravagant and a place which can make us smile more." Joshua Changed the topic.

"A place where you enjoyed your childhood." He added as he saw the silence of younger.

Seokmin looked at Joshua with confusion but then reluctantly nodded.
