Chapter 7: Excuses of Mr Perfect.

Having sleepless night was never New for Seokmin, though tonight it wasn't because of the Weight of his father's expectations or anything related to Lee Family. Today he was having hard time in sleeping because of JOSHUA HONG.

He was never someone to anticipate about the next day which was yet to come but tonight, he couldn't help but imagine. What will happen tomorrow?? Joshua was indeed different from his Family and that scared him. He saw through him so easily and wasn't even angry. He wasn't expecting something outrageous but he kept trying to touch the deeper emotions of his, Seokmin never knew that he would be able to agree to Joshua without another thought.

Maybe he was taken aback because of Moment and the way Joshua kept staring at him with Some unknown emotions in his eyes, it made him take such reckless decision.

He should just deny about going tomorrow and make some excuse.

Seokmin sat on bed and thought about Joshua's gentle smile, he mirrored that smile from his memory. It was one of the rare moment he felt so light and stress-free. Seokmin shook his head and picked up his phone from his side table.
It was 3 in the morning, was it Good time to message.?? Seokmin wondered.

He shook his head. Joshua would think he have gone crazy but he doesn't Wanted Joshua to see something which his father despised, what if he hate that as well?? The voices in his head grew louder and before he could think, his brain formulated an excuse which he rarely used but now it's important.
A message was framed and Seokmin read it once before hitting the send button and tossing the phone away on the other side bed, he don't wanted see the reply. He rather sleep now.

When Joshua woke up next morning, he was smiling. The Memories of last night flooded in his head. Indeed something made him smile sadly but maybe future will not be that harsh on him.

He Picked up the phone from side table and when he Turned on the Data, the Notifications started Flooding and he shook his head.

The most surprising was that he got a message from Seokmin around 3:07 AM in the morning.

Joshua frowned as he Opened the chat box and read it.

Seokmin: i am not feeling well, can't accompany you today. My doctor told me to rest for a day or two. Sorry.

Joshua didn't know what to say, he was concerned about Seokmin's health.
He hurriedly exited the Messaging app and dialed Seokmin's number.
The call directly went in voice mail and he frowned.

Joshua gave an awkward smile to Jihoon who was burning hole into his head with that piercing gaze.

Today was meeting with Lee's and Joshua thought it might be a good chance to meet Seokmin but guess the Younger was too sick to even come here.

Joshua grinned internally, so there can be time when Seokmin don't work and just rest.

"You are quite amusing that you made my Workaholic brother take a day off." Jihoon snorted, Joshua sighed. The Sarcasm was indeed dripping from that statement but he was also Joshua Hong. He was soft but not with everyone.

He scoffed. "i know, I'm quite talented but I guessed that my future husband need some holidays and I can count on you to help him with his work, right future brother in law." His reply came with same intensity as of Jihoon's, the duo were not ready to back out.

"You are looking for trouble, Joshua Hong." Jihoon threatened.

"Well, to be precise I'm looking for my future husband. I don't want him to be sick." Joshua said Carelessly. Soonyoung by his side internally rolled his eyes. He wasn't here to see this childish fight.

"Do I look like I'm joking?? You better explain, why is Seokmin sick out of nowhere??" Jihoon spoke, his patience thinning with time.

"What makes you think i hold some magic and will attack on Seokmin instead of you, if I really had.??" He asked.

Jihoon was ready to throw punches but was hold by Chan, thankfully Chan and Soonyoung were there.

"Hyung, we are in meeting room." Chan said. If it wasn't for Joshua stopping them and then ask for there brother's address, they would have gone already back to the work.

"I will not give you his address." Jihoon said.

"Stop being Childish, if you won't. I will get it from your father." Joshua sighed. Jihoon glared at him and then clenched his fist tightly.

"If I give you his address, what will you do??" Jihoon whispered in low voice which was still Intimidating but not for Joshua.

"Sponsor a trip to antartica for you, you can go and calm yourself there. Your temper is quite concerning." he said seriously while Jihoon almost pounced at him.

When Joshua reached to Seokmin's penthouse he was having a second thought. He already got to know about the address and Password from Jihoon because according to him Seokmin won't easily open the door. He chuckled at the thought how Jihoon was ready to kill him again because he offered to send him to an anger management classes while showing his gratitude.

Joshua laughed, he was having crazy dynamic with his future cousin in law but it wasn't important, the important things was his future husband who was sick.

As Joshua stood infront of the door, he rang the bell but unfortunately no response. It was Inevitable like Jihoon said. He sighed, it was finally time to use the password and enter the house.
He first checked everything, he had food, juice, snacks, phone, wallet and yeah most importantly himself. Good.

As he entered the password, the door opened and Joshua slowly entered inside it. He closed the door slowly behind him and walked inside, the big living room was really beautiful. He admired the light colours and simple decoration. Joshua walked towards the coffee table and kept the paper bags which he brought with himself and then decided to find Seokmin.

As he was thinking, he heard a familiar Voice. Joshua halted at his place- This voice was Coming from Above and then he slowly made his way towards the direction from where this melodious voice was coming. The owner of the voice seemed better than any idol out there. Joshua's heart pounded loudly beneath with each step he took. He was scared and excited as well.

He was in Seokmin's sanctuary and invading his privacy. He just hoped that Seokmin don't get angry at him.

As he finally reached to a room, he saw the door slightly open. Joshua peeked only to see Seokmin sitting at one side and singing heartily, he was pouring every emotions in the song and giving a beautiful life to it. The raw vocals was enough to send chills down the Joshua's spine. He froze at his place as he took in the sight. Seokmin was so majestic like this, he felt whatever he thought was wrong. Seokmin voice was filled with emotions which he never showed, the song was just perfect as Seokmin.
He knew he was going to be his favourite song, a song which he can listen everyday. Joshua smiled, lost in the melodious sanctuary of Seokmin. He was happy to be The audience though little did he knew he crossed a line he shouldn't.

He didn't even Realised when the song ended and when he saw again, he found Seokmin looking at him with Confusion, shock, terror, rage? And several mixed emotions.
