Chapter Seven.

Gym. The one lesson I've been dreading all weekend. I wasted my Saturday and Sunday thinking about how this lesson would go down, and I still don't know. I want to use the girls locker room but I don't think they'd feel comfortable with me there. And there is no, and I mean no, way I'm using the boys locker room.

Before going to either changing room, I went to see coach McKinnon.

"Excuse me, coach McKinnon?" I said and got his attention. He turned and looked at me, he glanced over my outfit and he looked awfully confused.

"Where will I get changed?.." I asked nervously. "You see, I'm transgender and I don't think it'd be appropriate for me to get changed with the boys.."

He hesitated but said, "I'll go speak about it with the girls teacher about it." He walked off and I waited patiently.

Coach came back a few minutes later.

"When all the girls are out of the locker room, you can get changed, the same goes for when class is over. Go to the gymnasium afterwards, they boys and girls classes are joined today." He said and I nodded. I was a little hurt that I wasn't allowed to get changed with them, it's not like I'm going to perv on them. I wish I'd just be excepted.

The girls locker room was deathly quiet. It was lonely in here. I quickly got changed and went to the gymnasium.

We were all apparently doing badminton today. I suck at sports. I just sat off with Tay for most of the lesson.

There were a couple of girls near us and I overheard their conversation.

"Did you know that Alex Gaskarth has to do gym with us now?" One of them asked.

"The trany?" Another asked.

"Yeah, the fucking freak. 'I'm a girl' my ass." One of them laughed.

I ignored the rest of their ranting. How can people be so cruel? I haven't done anything wrong to them.

"Gaskarth, Jardine, you two play against Urie and Smith." Coach McKinnon ordered in the corner of the gymnasium. Me and Tay walked over to the net, but when coach left the gymnasium, Spencer Smith refused to play.

"No way am I playing with that fucking freak!" Spencer said and dropped his racket.

"Spencer, stop being so mean." Brendon said.

"No way! That freak there thinks it's a girl and no way am I playing against that psychopath!" He shouted. "Oh, I'm Alexis and I'm a girl with a dick!" He mimicked in a highly flamboyant voice. A bunch of people laughed around me, I have never felt so hated before. There was only one person, apart from Tay, that didn't laugh and that was Jack. He looked at me sadly.

"You're not a girl, you freak." He spat in my face.

"I am. I am a girl" I said quietly.

"Oh you're a girl?" Spencer laughed. "I'm pretty sure girls don't have dicks between their legs." He said. Spencer randomly nodded and I was confused for a second with what he was doing, but then the most embarrassing thing happened.

Somebody came up behind me and quickly hooked their fingers around my shorts and underwear. The next thing I knew was that I was naked from the bottom half in front of everybody. Laughter erupted from around. I quickly pulled both my shorts and underwear up and ran as fast as I could out of the gymnasium. The tears came quick and endlessly came out of my eyes.
