It took time, but we finally got out of school without teachers noticing us. We stopped outside the gate once we where out safely.

"So, where are we gonna go?" Jack asked with a chuckle.

"My mom isn't home, so maybe there?" I offered.

"Thanks for being there for me today." I said cuddling closer to Jack, on my sofa. We had decided to come here.

"It's fine." He said and kissed me. "When is your mom coming-"

"Alexander William Gaskarth!" Shouted my angered mother, cutting off Jack off from his question. She used my full real name which upset me a bit, she probably didn't mean to offend me, it was probably a force of habit.

My mom stormed though the living room door and I quickly moved away from Jack.

"Why did I get a call from your school saying you were missing?!" She seethed. "I was so worried!"

"Mom, I'm so sorry, I can explain." I exclaimed.

"Who on earth are you?" She asked Jack, completely ignoring me.

"I'm Jack." He said. My mom gave him this 'why are you in my house' look. "I'm her..... boyfriend." He said. My eyes went wide at what he came up with. Boyfriend?! We haven't discussed anything of a relationship! He looked at me and shrugged.

"So, skipping school and secret boyfriends are things we do now?" She asked with anger.

"Mom, if you'd just listen to me." I continued she looked calmer and let me explain. "Today, in gym, people were making fun of me and someone came up behind me then pulled my shorts and underwear down in front of everyone.." I said. The water works started again.

"Who did that to you, sweetheart?" She said going straight back to her usual mothering tone. I looked down at my feet, not knowing the answer.

"A boy, called Spencer Smith, was the one who started the teasing and then another boy, called Matthew Healy, was the one to actually.. Ya'know.." Jack said awkwardly. It was Matt?

"Did you witness this, Jack?" She asked him. He nodded and held my hand. "Where you involved with this? Because I swear to God if you hurt her!" My mom threatened.

"I really, really, really like your daughter, Mrs. Gaskarth. She's changed me for the better, I wouldn't hurt her." Jack said sweetly. It's sad though. He has hurt me before.

My mom sighed and rubbed her forehead.

"I'm going to speak to your principle about this, they can't get away with this." She said and walked out of the house.

I sighed and leaned against Jack. That was certainly... special. We were silent for a little while, until I spoke up.

"So boyfriend, huh?" I said. He blushed, which wasn't expected.

"Yeah, sorry." He said quickly. "This is random, but will you be my girlfriend?.." He asked. My heart fluttered like a butterfly when he asked me that.

"Of course I will." I said, obviously. How could I turn him down?

He smiled widely and brought me in for another one of our kisses. It's funny how I only had my first kiss a few days ago and now I'm just addicted to kissing, or maybe I'm just addicted to Jack?
