Jungkook strolled towards the hospital floor where his heart and concerns are breathing after He had just bid his ailing father farewell, watching as the figure disappeared into the familiar comforts of their home. Jungkook sat down on the bench outside Yn's room, his eyes scanning the deserted corridor as if searching for answers.
The fluorescent lights overhead seemed to hum in sync with the churning feelings in his gut. He felt like he was teetering on the edge of a cliff, unsure of what lay ahead or how he would navigate this uncertain future.
But as he sat there, processing everything that had happened, one thing became clear: he would face whatever lay ahead with Yn by his side. He couldn't bear the thought of her being in pain, struggling to breathe or fighting for every moment. The thought alone was suffocating him.
As the night slowly transitioned into the morning, the warm rays of the sun crept through the windows, casting a gentle glow over the room. The innocent bird, still shaken by the events of the previous day's panic attack, slowly began to regain her senses.
She tried to lift her heavy eyelids, but they felt like they were weighed down by an invisible force. A low, labored groan escaped her lips as she struggled to open her eyes, her mind foggy and disoriented.
Once her vision is clear, her eyes observed the surroundings attempting to comprehend where she is but then, her eyes landed on a familiar figure - her grandmother, who was dozing off on the nearby sofa, her head leaning against the headrest. The bird's gaze locked onto her grandmother's peaceful face, and a surge of relief washed over her. She felt a sense of comfort and security wash over her as she took in the familiar lines of her grandmother's face, the gentle curve of her nose, and the softness of her lips.
For a moment, the bird forgot about the panic attack that had ravaged her mind and body just hours before. All she could think about was being safe with her grandmother, who had always been there to comfort and protect her. As she gazed at her grandmother's peaceful face, the bird felt a sense of calm wash over her, and she knew that she would be okay.
After a few moments of lying still, Yn slowly and cautiously pushed herself up from the bed, her movements deliberate and quiet to avoid disturbing her grandmother's rest. As she sat up, she allowed her gaze to wander around the room, taking into the surroundings.
But her attention was quickly drawn back to the IV drips attached to her hand, their gentle beeps and soft hissing sounds a reminder of her recent medical ordeal. With a gentle touch, she grasped the stand that held the IV equipment, careful not to make any noise that might disturb her grandmother's sleep.
With a quiet deliberation, Yn opened the door of the room, the soft creak of the hinge barely audible. She took small, deliberate steps out of the room, her eyes scanning the nearby area to ensure she was alone. But as she emerged into the dimly lit hallway, she was confronted with a figure who sat in the nearby seating area.
The man's head was bowed, his elbows resting on his knees as he held his head in his hands. His face was obscured by his arms and hair, making it impossible to read his expression.
