Hi! It's the author here! I want you to know that I would be busy for a long time because of family issues, school and others. In conclusion, I won't be writing often anymore.

The morning sun streamed through the large kitchen windows, filling the room with warm, golden light. Taylor was in the kitchen, humming softly to herself as she prepared breakfast. The smell of fresh coffee filled the air, mingling with the scent of pancakes sizzling on the griddle. She loved mornings like this — quiet, peaceful, and just the two of them.Travis was still asleep upstairs, catching a few extra moments of rest after a long week of practice and interviews. Taylor glanced at the clock, her heart racing slightly. Today was the day. She'd been planning this for weeks, ever since she found out the news herself. Her hands trembled slightly with a mix of excitement and nerves as she flipped a pancake.
A few minutes later, she heard the soft thud of footsteps on the stairs. Travis appeared in the doorway, looking adorably sleepy with his hair tousled and a lazy smile on his face. He was wearing an old, worn-out T-shirt and sweatpants, and Taylor couldn't help but smile at the sight of him. He always looked so effortlessly handsome, even first thing in the morning.
"Good morning, superstar," he said with a grin, crossing the room to give her a quick kiss on the cheek. "Something smells amazing."
Taylor smiled, her heart fluttering at the familiar term of endearment. "Good morning, big guy. I thought I'd make your favorite breakfast."
Travis's eyes lit up as he saw the spread on the table — fluffy pancakes, crispy bacon, fresh fruit, and a pot of steaming coffee. "You're the best, you know that?" he said, wrapping an arm around her waist and pulling her in for a proper kiss.
Taylor leaned into the kiss, savoring the warmth of his embrace. She couldn't help but think about how much she loved him and how much she wanted to share this moment with him. But she knew she had to wait just a little longer for the right moment.
They sat down to eat, and Taylor tried to keep her nerves in check. She chatted with Travis about his plans for the day, his upcoming games, and the latest gossip around the NFL. Travis was animated, as always, sharing stories and making her laugh with his quick wit and charming smile.
After a while, Taylor decided it was time. Her heart pounded in her chest as she reached for a small box she had hidden in the kitchen drawer. "Hey, Trav?" she said, trying to keep her voice steady. "I have something for you."
Travis looked up from his plate, his expression curious. "Oh yeah? What's that?"
Taylor took a deep breath, holding out the small box. "Just... open it."
He took the box from her, his brow furrowing in confusion. "What's this for? It's not my birthday or anything."
"Just open it," she repeated, her voice barely above a whisper.
Travis gave her a puzzled smile, then carefully lifted the lid of the box. Inside was a tiny pair of baby sneakers, white with little red laces. His eyes widened in shock, and he looked up at Taylor, his mouth falling open.
"Are you... are you serious?" he stammered, his voice filled with disbelief.
Taylor nodded, tears welling up in her eyes. "I'm pregnant, Trav. We're going to have a baby."
For a moment, Travis just stared at her, his eyes searching her face as if trying to make sure this wasn't some kind of joke. Then, a wide grin spread across his face, and he let out a shout of joy.
"Oh my God, Tay!" he exclaimed, leaping out of his chair and pulling her into his arms. He lifted her off the ground, spinning her around as he laughed, his voice filled with pure, unfiltered happiness. "We're going to be parents!"
Taylor laughed through her tears, her heart swelling with love and relief. She wrapped her arms around his neck, holding him close as he continued to spin her around. "I know! I can't believe it either!"
Travis finally set her down, his hands on her shoulders as he looked at her with a mixture of awe and excitement. "How long have you known? Why didn't you tell me sooner?"
"I found out a few weeks ago," Taylor admitted, wiping away a tear. "I wanted to find the perfect moment to tell you, and this morning just felt right."
Travis shook his head, his smile never fading. "You're incredible, you know that? This is the best surprise ever."
Taylor laughed, feeling a sense of overwhelming joy. "I was so nervous! I didn't know how you'd react."
"How I'd react?" Travis said, his voice incredulous. "Tay, this is the best news I could ever get! I'm so happy right now, I could burst!"
He pulled her into another tight hug, and Taylor felt a wave of emotion wash over her. She'd been so worried about how he'd take the news, but seeing his reaction filled her with a sense of peace. This was exactly how she'd hoped it would go — full of love, happiness, and excitement for their future.
After a few moments, Travis pulled back, his hands resting on her shoulders. "I can't wait to tell everyone," he said, his eyes shining with excitement. "Our families, our friends... they're going to be so thrilled."
Taylor nodded, a smile spreading across her face. "I know. But I think we should keep it just between us for a little while longer. Just to enjoy this moment, you know?"
Travis nodded, understanding immediately. "Yeah, I get that. This is our little secret for now."
Taylor leaned up to kiss him, her heart overflowing with love. "Thank you, Trav. Thank you for being so amazing."
Travis smiled, brushing a strand of hair away from her face. "No, thank you, Tay. You're going to be an incredible mom. And I promise, I'll be right here with you every step of the way."
They stood there for a few moments, just holding each other, basking in the happiness of their shared news. The future felt bright, filled with endless possibilities and new adventures. And no matter what came their way, they knew they'd face it together — as a team, as partners, and soon, as parents.
Finally, Travis pulled back, a mischievous grin on his face. "So, does this mean I get to eat for two now too?"
Taylor laughed, playfully swatting his arm. "Nice try, big guy. I think that's just me."
Travis chuckled, pulling her close again. "Worth a shot. But seriously, Tay... I'm so excited for this. For us. For our little family."
Taylor smiled, resting her head against his chest. "Me too, Trav. Me too."
And as they stood there in their kitchen, holding each other close, Taylor knew that this was just the beginning of a beautiful new chapter in their lives — one filled with love, laughter, and the promise of all the wonderful things to come.
---
They spent the rest of the morning talking about their hopes and dreams for the future, imagining what their little one would be like. And as they did, Taylor couldn't help but feel an overwhelming sense of gratitude for this moment, for Travis, and for the incredible journey that lay ahead.
