(Maven and Ruby hurry out the room before they could hear anything else)

Maven: I made up that lie. We need to gossip about what we heard.

Ruby: Alright bet... *opens the door to their room and locks it behind them*

Maven: Red... has a girlfriend. Has it sunk in yet.

Ruby: Oh hell no of course it hasn't... Wait a second.

Maven: What.

Ruby: MY SIBLING? A GIRLFRIEND? HOW COULD I have been so BLIND?

Maven: Oh damn, I knew you were gonna snap eventually.

Ruby: How... When... Red.. Lesbian? What?

Maven: She hasn't explicitly said that yet. Nobody knows buddy.

Ruby: Oh man.... This is too much.

Maven: It's ok. *Pats Ruby reassuringly*

Ruby: Red actually had a makeout session with a girl.... Oh my gosh should I tell my mom?

Maven: NO DON'T! THAT BREAKS SISTER CODE! Ruby chill the f*ck out.

Ruby: I CAN'T!

Maven: Slow your roll. I'm going to get more ice cream to put in the freezer. I think you should stay here and decompress.

*Ruby flops onto the pillow and starts groaning... she's in shock. Maven doesn't know what to do and just pats her head and walks out*

(Ruby's phone goes off.. it's her mom)

<Bridget>: Hi Ruby, can we talk?

<Ruby>: Sure mom...

(Bridget calls Ruby on video chat)

Bridget: Wow the room is really nice!! So do you like your roommate? Who is it?

Ruby: Maven, Queen Mal's daughter. She was adopted too... we are becoming really good friends.

Bridget: That's amazing! I assume you've met Red and her roommate then?

Ruby: *Face automatically changes* Ohh.. yeah. They're pretty cool.

Bridget: Is there anything that I need to be aware of sweetie?

Ruby: Nope... Nothing's really up with Red.. Then again it's only been one day.

Bridget: Oh.. I see. Well... I hope you're enjoying it over there so far.

Ruby: Thanks.

Bridget: I gotta go to a ceremony for the new flower shop downtown.. I'll talk to you later okay?

Ruby: Okay... Bye mom! *hangs up*
