Jungkook opened his eyes and saw himself in an unfamiliar room. The walls were painted a deep, oppressive black, absorbing any light that tried to enter. Dark, heavy curtains draped over the windows, blocking out any glimpse of the outside world. The furniture was old, carved from dark wood, with intricate, foreboding designs etched into the surface. The atmosphere was thick, suffocating, and a faint, unsettling scent lingered in the air.

Everything that had happened before flashed through his mind like a nightmare. The terrifying figure, the painful bite, and the sinister promise—it all came rushing back. Panic gripped him as he bolted upright, his heart pounding in his chest. Desperately, he tried to gather his bearings and find a way out, his mind racing with the urge to escape this place before it was too late.

But as soon as Jungkook reached the door, it creaked open by itself, revealing the figure he feared the most. Taehyung stepped into the room, his expression as unreadable as ever, wearing a black and red cloak that seemed to blend with the shadows around him.

"Darkling woke up and decided to leave? How cute," Taehyung’s voice dripped with a dark amusement, the sinister undertone sending a shiver down Jungkook’s spine.

Jungkook’s voice trembled as he pleaded, "Let me go, please."

Taehyung’s eyes darkened, a cold smirk curling on his lips. "Never."

"You're bound to me, Shadowling," Taehyung said, his voice a menacing whisper that filled the room with an eerie chill. "The moment you stepped into this castle, it chose you as its second owner. You should consider yourself lucky that you got to leave here alive."

The weight of those words shook Jungkook to his core, his heart pounding in his chest as he realized the depth of the darkness he was trapped in.

"Now, now, you won't be able to escape from here again. Never. Mark my words, precious," Taehyung's voice was laced with a sinister amusement, the dark nicknames only adding to Jungkook's mounting fear.

But Jungkook, despite the terror gripping him, was stubborn. His mind screamed at him to run, to fight against the overwhelming darkness. Without thinking, he pushed Taehyung aside and bolted for the door.

Taehyung's laughter echoed through the room, cold and mocking. Hands in the pockets of his cloak, he began to whistle a haunting tune, finding Jungkook's defiance oddly adorable as he watched the boy's futile attempt to escape.

"Run faster, darling, but once I catch you, I won't go easy," Taehyung's voice echoed ominously, reverberating through the dark corridors. It was as if the castle itself conspired with him, amplifying his words until they seemed to come from every direction, growing louder and more menacing with each step Jungkook took.

The walls seemed to close in, the air thickening as if the very structure of the castle willed him to hear and fear Taehyung's threat.

Jungkook frantically pulled at the massive door, his fingers slipping on the cold metal as tears streamed down his face. He pushed with all his strength, but the door wouldn't budge, not even an inch. His sobs grew louder, desperation taking over, but the castle, much like its owner, remained unmoved by his pleas. It was as if the very walls were alive, feeding off his fear and despair, refusing to grant him an escape.

Taehyung's voice echoed through the grand hall, his tone mocking, almost playful, as he descended the staircase with a sinister grace. "You won't be able to open them, Jungkookiee~," he sang, a twisted smile playing on his lips. Jungkook's heart raced as he frantically scanned the room, desperate to find something—anything—that could help him defend himself. But the castle offered no such mercy. Every corner seemed to mock him with its emptiness, leaving him vulnerable under Taehyung's amused gaze. The sound of Taehyung’s footsteps grew louder, each step bringing him closer, making Jungkook’s fear rise with every second.
