It's been a week since Taehyung started teaching at their university as the new English professor. From the moment he stepped into the classroom, he never missed a chance to remind Jungkook of his place. Taehyung's intense, unwavering gaze would lock onto Jungkook during lectures, sending a clear message without uttering a single word.

Whenever the opportunity arose, Taehyung would pull Jungkook aside into an empty classroom or summon him to his office, always under the pretence of discussing academic matters. But Jungkook knew better; these private meetings were far from ordinary. They were filled with subtle threats and reminders of who held the power.

What puzzled Jungkook the most was Minsoo's sudden change in behaviour. Once a constant source of torment, Minsoo had become eerily distant. He no longer bullied Jungkook, and he had even switched seats, no longer sitting next to him. This abrupt shift did not go unnoticed by Jungkook, who began to suspect that Taehyung might have had a hand in it. It was as if Minsoo had been warned off, leaving Jungkook in a constant state of unease and confusion.

Like usual, it was the first class of the day, Taehyung's class. The students sat in their seats, waiting anxiously for the teacher. From the moment he joined, Taehyung had made it clear that punctuality was non-negotiable; anyone who dared to be late would face severe punishment. His presence was enough to intimidate the entire class, and no one wanted to risk his wrath.

Jungkook sat by the window, gazing outside with a distant look in his eyes, his hand resting thoughtfully on his chin. His mind was a whirlwind of thoughts, but he couldn't shake the uneasy feeling that had settled over him since Taehyung's arrival.

The room suddenly fell silent, a clear sign that Taehyung had entered. Without needing to look, Jungkook felt the shift in the atmosphere. The professor had arrived.

Taehyung started his lecture without wasting a minute, diving into the complexities of Shakespearean tragedies. Jungkook dutifully took notes, his pen moving quickly across the paper. However, his attention soon drifted outside the window.

He noticed the gardener trimming the hedges with pruning shears. Suddenly, the gardener slipped, and the shears nicked his finger, causing blood to flow freely. Jungkook watched with concern, his mind focused on the gardener's injury.

So absorbed in the scene outside, Jungkook failed to notice the silence that had fallen over the classroom. Taehyung had stopped mid-lecture and was now staring directly at him, a frown forming on his face as he observed Jungkook's distraction.

"Mr. Jeon, stand up," Taehyung commanded, his tone laced with a warning and a hint of anger.

Jungkook's head snapped towards the front of the room, his eyes wide with fear. He quickly rose to his feet, feeling the weight of his classmates' stares. Their collective attention only heightened his nervousness, making his palms sweat and his heart race.

Taehyung's eyes bore into Jungkook, making him feel small and exposed. "Would you care to share with the class what you found so fascinating outside the window?" Taehyung's voice was calm, but the underlying threat was unmistakable.

"S-sorry, Professor," Jungkook stuttered, his voice trembling as he looked down, clutching his hand tightly in a fist. Taehyung remained unfazed, his expression stern.

"Tell me, Mr. Jeon, what was I talking about?" Taehyung's voice was cold and demanding.

Jungkook's mind raced, trying to recall the last few minutes of the lecture. "Y-you were discussing Shakespearean tragedies, sir," he managed to say, his voice barely above a whisper.

"And what specific aspect of Shakespearean tragedies was I explaining?" Taehyung pressed, his gaze never leaving Jungkook.

Jungkook's heart pounded as he desperately tried to remember. "The... the themes of fate and destiny in 'Macbeth,' Professor," he finally said, hoping he was correct.

Taehyung hummed thoughtfully, then said, "Meet me after class in my office," before gesturing for Jungkook to sit down.

Jungkook slid back into his seat, his mind a whirl of anxiety about the impending meeting. Taehyung resumed the lecture, his demeanour returning to its usual intensity. Jungkook, however, struggled to focus, his thoughts consumed with worry about what might happen later. The minutes dragged on as he pondered the consequences of his distraction, unable to shake the growing sense of dread.

As the class came to an end, Taehyung cast one last glance at Jungkook before leaving the room. Jungkook waited for a few minutes, gathering his courage as he stood outside Taehyung's office, contemplating whether or not to knock. His nerves were on edge, but after an internal battle, he finally mustered the resolve to knock on the door.

"Come in," came the prompt reply, as if Taehyung had been expecting the knock without hesitation. Jungkook took a deep breath and opened the door, stepping into the office with a mixture of apprehension and determination.

Jungkook saw Taehyung already seated behind his desk. Taehyung glanced up from his papers when he noticed Jungkook standing in the doorway, head bowed in anxiety.

"Look up and sit down," Taehyung commanded, his tone firm and authoritative.

Jungkook hesitated for a moment, then raised his head and met Taehyung's gaze briefly before quickly sitting in the chair across from the professor's desk. The room fell into a heavy silence as Jungkook shifted uncomfortably in his seat, waiting for Taehyung to speak.

Taehyung's voice cut through the silence, each word deliberate and chilling. "Now, now, little one. Tell me, what was so interesting that made you look away from my lecture?" The way he spoke sent shivers down Jungkook's spine, his tone leaving no room for evasion.

Jungkook didn't respond. He kept his eyes fixed on the floor, fingers fidgeting nervously in his lap. The tension in the room mounted as Taehyung rose from his desk and moved towards Jungkook's seated figure.

Taehyung stopped right behind Jungkook's chair and leaned over, placing his hands on the armrests, effectively trapping Jungkook between his arms. The proximity was suffocating, Taehyung's breath warmed against Jungkook's ear. "I asked you a question," Taehyung said, his voice low and insistent. "And I want a proper answer, dear one."

Jungkook's heart pounded as he felt Taehyung's presence envelop him. The oppressive atmosphere made it difficult to think, let alone speak. He swallowed hard, struggling to find his voice under the weight of Taehyung's intimidating closeness.

"I-I s-sir," Jungkook stammered, his voice barely a whisper as he struggled under the combined weight of Taehyung's intense gaze and the overwhelming proximity The close quarters made it nearly impossible for him to think clearly or find his words.

Taehyung's eyes remained fixed on Jungkook, his expression a mixture of impatience and cold expectation. He didn't move, maintaining his intimidating position, waiting for Jungkook to gather the courage to speak. The silence stretched, thick with tension, as Jungkook grappled with his fear and anxiety, trying to form a coherent response.

Taehyung leaned in even closer, his breath warm against the back of Jungkook's neck. He inhaled deeply, the scent of Jungkook's shampoo mingling with the faint anxiety in the air. Jungkook's hair prickled at the nape of his neck, a shiver running down his spine from the intimate intrusion.

Taehyung's eyes glinted with dark satisfaction as he observed the effect he had on Jungkook. The professor's closeness and the deliberate nature of his actions were clearly meant to unnerve and assert his dominance. Jungkook could feel Taehyung's enjoyment in the power he wielded, amplifying the fear and discomfort that had already gripped him.

Taheyung leaned in closer, his breath warm and unsettling against Jungkook's ear. "You don't even know the things I want to do to you, little one," he
whispered, his voice low and dark.

In one slow and deliberate movement, Taehyung's tongue flicked out and traced the lobe of Jungkook's ear. The unexpected touch sent a shiver down Jungkook's spine his entire body tensing in response. The combination of Taehyung's chilling words and the intimate invasive contact left jungkook feeling acutely vulnerable, trapped in a movement that was as frightening as it was overwhelming. The air between them crackled with an oppressive sense of control and foreboding, leaving Jungkook's heart pounding in his chest.
