Kim Taehyung's sinister smile widened as he heard the Jeon couple whisper his name.

"Yes, it's me, so you do remember me," Taehyung said in a mocking tone, his voice dangerously calm.

Mr. Jeon quickly fell to his knees, hands clasped together in a pleading gesture. "Forgive us, King. We can never forget our king. Please, have mercy on us."

Taehyung's expression darkened slightly, and he spoke with a chilling calmness. "Cut the crap, Jeon. You hid my precious from me and didn't even tell him about me?"

"N-no, we were about...to...t-tell him," Mr. Jeon stammered, but before he could finish, Taehyung's voice, still calm but laced with a menacing edge, interrupted him.

"Shut up. You kept him away from me all these years," Taehyung's eyes gleamed with a dangerous light. "You will face my wrath."

The Jeon couple trembled like leaves in a storm, the sheer presence of Taehyung making the air feel heavy and suffocating. Mrs. Jeon's face paled as fear gripped her, tears welling up in her eyes until they spilt over. She choked back sobs, her voice trembling as she pleaded, "P-please, King... Jungkook... he's our only son... don't do anything to him, I beg you."

Taehyung's expression remained cold and unyielding, a sinister calmness radiating from him. He stepped closer, his eyes narrowing as they locked onto Mrs. Jeon's tear-streaked face. "I won't harm my precious Jungkook," he began, his voice like ice, smooth and dangerously calm. "But to those who dare come between us... I won't be so merciful."

His gaze bore into Mrs. Jeon, the words "those who come between us" dripping with menace, sending a shiver down her spine. The room seemed to grow darker, the atmosphere thickening with the weight of his threat. There was no mistaking the lethal promise in his words, a promise that anyone who tried to separate him from Jungkook would face the full force of his wrath.

Mrs. Jeon's sobs grew quieter, more desperate, as the realization sank in. They were trapped, powerless against this dark force that had entered their home, and there was nothing they could do to protect their son from the man who claimed to own him.

Taehyung's eyes glinted with a terrifying intensity as he leaned in closer, his voice dropping to a whisper that felt more like a hiss. "He is with me, and I won't let him go. He belongs to me. He is the queen of your king." The words hung in the air, chilling them to their core, the finality in his tone leaving no room for doubt.

As the Jeon couple stood frozen in fear, Taehyung's form began to fade, his body dissolving into the shadows as if he were nothing more than a wraith. But before he disappeared completely, his voice echoed through the room, low and ominous. "You will face your punishment."

And with that, he was gone, leaving the Jeon couple standing alone in their living room, trembling as the weight of his words settled over them like a curse.

Jungkook slowly rose from the bed, his mind still clouded with the remnants of a nightmare that felt all too real. The room he found himself in was dimly lit by the faint glow of moonlight filtering through a large window. The cool light created shadows that danced eerily along the walls. He blinked, his heart racing as the realization struck him-there was a window.

Without wasting a moment, Jungkook jumped out of bed and approached the window. It was tall and imposing, the handle just out of his reach. Panic threatened to overwhelm him as he scanned the room for anything that might help him escape. His eyes fell on a small stool near the bed. He quickly dragged it over to the window, the wood scraping against the floor, breaking the silence of the night.

Climbing onto the stool, he reached for the handle, his fingers just brushing it. With a bit of effort, he managed to pull the window open, the cool night air rushing in. A triumphant smile spread across his face. He glanced down, assessing his chances of escape. The drop to the ground was steep, the height enough to guarantee broken bones if he dared to jump. But just as despair began to settle in, he noticed a tree branch extending close to the window.
