Author's POV

The moment Kabir got to know the name, his face turned pale, and he was shaken to his core. He didn't expect something like this. He went back to his room. At first, he thought of telling Arjun. He called him multiple times, but no one picked up. Then he decided that tomorrow morning he would try again. He knew that his brother was not going to give up, especially when there was a chance that Shivika might like him, so Arjun had to be the one who needed to give up.

In the morning, Kabir went to his house, but it was locked, so he called Arjun again, and this time he picked up. Kabir asked where he was last night and why he isn't at home. Arjun happily told him what he did last night and that he was now in Shivika's home. At this moment, Kabir knew that Arjun would never give up and would do whatever it took to be with her, so he decided not to tell him anything and let destiny play its own cruel game.

A game that has entangled three lives, in its own twisted way in which someone will lose everything.

3 days later...

''yaar tu cheating kar rahi hai shivi!!'' (Dude, you are cheating, Shivi!!)

''lekin isme kese cheating kar sakti hon main'' (But how can I be cheating in this?)

''nahi tune kuch kar rakha hai, har baar main kese haar raha hon'' (No, you have done something, how am I losing every time?)

''teri kismat kharab hai isliye'' (It's because of your bad luck.)

''ye dice kharab hai, actually ye teri dice hai isiliye tujhe jita rahi hai'' (These dice are bad; actually, they are your dice, that's why they are making you win.)

After Arjun's accident, Meera and Vijay didn't allow him to go home until he was fully healed, to which he happily agreed. Not only did his plan work, but he also got to stay with Shivika. He didn't really care about the pain as long as she was in front of him. Shivika had completely forgotten about the guy she met in the park. Her whole concentration was on her best friend. Meanwhile, Samar was waiting in his car for Shivika. Every day, he used to get ready in the morning and wait outside the park. The first day, he didn't mind. He consoled himself, ''Usne kaha tha 2-3 din matlab kal aegi.'' Then the next day, she again didn't come. He was slowly losing his patience. He knew he saw something in her eyes. She didn't resist when he touched her; instead, she blushed.

If he wanted, he could have had her at any moment, but after their first meeting, he didn't wanted to force her. The innocence she held, the love and purity she had—she treated him like a human, a real, normal person, which he hadn't had since his childhood. Everybody was either scared of him or wanted something from him. His mother passed away while giving birth to his younger brother, their father never loved Kabir, as he believed he was the reason he lost his wife. Samar took care of him and everything. Since a very young age, he was burdened with responsibilities. He closed his eyes and imagined the day he saw Shivika from his car, the way she was carefree and calm, just enjoying the rain without caring about anything else. And another day when she hugged him, he felt something that he had never felt his entire life. She trusted him without knowing him or anything about him. For the first time someone actually liked him for who he was as a person—she liked him as Samar, not as Samar Raichand.

But today his patience finally broke..he's standing outside shivika's house looking at her window.
