Author's POV

Kabir sat in the car, the engine softly humming as he drove to the office. He called one of his one of the most trusted men Ishaan.

They were close in age, and Kabir appreciated how Ishaan respected his boundaries while managing tasks in his absence. Kabir often shared his worries with Ishaan, finding comfort in their friendship.

"Sir, ho gaya aapka kaam?" Ishaan asked eagerly.
("Sir, has your work been completed?")

"Haan, ho toh gaya," Kabir replied, relief in his voice.
("Yes, it's done.")

"Bataiye, kya karna hai?" Ishaan asked seriously.
("Tell me, what needs to be done?")

Kabir took a deep breath. "Sunday ko ek open jagah chahiye, specifically red tulips se decorate karna hai. Be very careful-it's for Shivika bhabhi and Samar bhai!"
("We need an open space on Sunday, and it has to be decorated with red tulips. Be very careful—it's for Shivika sister-in-law and Samar brother!")

Ishaan frowned, concern showing on his face. "But sir, do you think ye sahi hai?"
("But sir, do you think this is right?")

Kabir waved his hand dismissively. "Haan haan, Arjun se pucha hai!"
("Yes, yes, I asked Arjun!")

"Nahi, mera matlab... Samar sir ko karna chahiye na ye sab ma'am ke liye? Ye toh cheating huyi na?" Ishaan said, his eyes filled with worry.
("No, I mean... Samar sir should be doing all this for ma'am, right? Isn't this cheating?")

"Cheating matlab?" Kabir asked, confused.
("Cheating, what do you mean?")

"Matlab, jese ab Arjun sir se recipe leke, khud cake banake Samar sir ko de denge, fir wo ma'am se kahenge ki wo cake pura unhone banaya hai. Isn't that wrong?" Ishaan's integrity shone through.
("Like now, we'll take the recipe from Arjun sir, bake the cake ourselves, and then give it to Samar sir, and he’ll tell ma'am that he made the entire cake. Isn't that wrong?")

"Hai toh lekin abhi time nahi hai. Jaao, jaake red tulips dhoondho!" Kabir urged, hoping to ease Ishaan's concerns.
("Yes, but there's no time now. Go, find the red tulips!")

"Yes sir," Ishaan nodded, still looking unsure as he left.
("Yes sir.")

Once Ishaan was gone, Kabir leaned back in his chair and called his assistant, Daksh. "Khanna ki file leke aao, jaldi," he instructed.
("Bring me Khanna's file, quickly.")

"Yes sir," Daksh replied.

Just then, the door swung open, and Samar walked in with a big smile. "Lagta hai mera chota bhai bada ho gaya!" he exclaimed.
("Looks like my little brother has grown up!")

Kabir smiled back and motioned for Daksh to leave. "Bhai, kuch important baat karni thi," Kabir said, his tone shifting to serious.
("Brother, I needed to talk about something important.")

"Batao," Samar replied, curious.
("Tell me.")

"Maine arrangements karwa di hain, apki aur bhabhi ki date ke liye," Kabir announced proudly.
("I've made the arrangements for you and bhabhi’s date.")

"But wo main khud..." Samar started, but Kabir interrupted.
("But I...")

"Janta hoon, lekin meri taraf se gift samjh lo ek," Kabir insisted.
("I know, but consider it a gift from my side.")
