Shivika's POV

Seriously, he left without even saying goodnight. How rude! Is he actually going to come tomorrow? What will I wear? ohhh good he saw me like this..aaaaaaaaaaa....SHIT I STILL DON'T KNOW HIS NAMEE!!!! WHY AM I SOOO STUPID, should i tell arjun?noooooo I can't tell Arjun. Obviously, he'll scold me and then get stressed.

As I lay on my bed, lost in thought, I couldn't help but notice the faint scent of him lingering in the air. A smile crept onto my face as I realized that he had come to see me out of concern...

Author's POV

Arjun was sitting in Shivika's room, telling her which dress looked good and which didn't since morning. As soon as she woke up, all she worried about was what she was going to wear that night. Although she wasn't going to some fancy restaurant, it was her first date. She had always imagined it to be perfect and romantic, but due to circumstances, that wasn't possible. However, that didn't stop her from getting all dolled up. Her behavior was confusing Arjun. He kept asking her about the occasion but didn't get a single answer that could justify what was happening. So, he finally gave up. After all, he was getting to see Shivika in all these beautiful outfits.

“yaar mere pas kuch bhi acha nahi hai pehne ko!” she said after sitting in frustration
(“I have nothing good to wear!” she said after sitting in frustration.)

“shivi pura room kapdon se bhara hua hai!!”
(“Shivi, the whole room is filled with clothes!!”)

“lekin inme se kuch bhi nahi hai jo acha ho” she said while holding her tears back
(“But none of these are good,” she said while holding her tears back.)

“arre sab ache lag rahe hain” he said trying to calm her down
(“Everything looks good,” he said trying to calm her down.)

“arjun sexy sa chahiye kuch, mujhe bhi pata hai sundar sab lag rahe hain” hearing her say this Arjun was shocked, she never wore sexy clothes but today all of a sudden she wants to wear something sexy?
(“Arjun, I want something sexy; I know everything looks beautiful.” Hearing her say this, Arjun was shocked. She never wore sexy clothes, but today all of a sudden she wants to wear something sexy?)

“shivi tere periods...??...” he asked in confusion
(“Shivi, your periods...??...” he asked in confusion.)

“haan ek ladki ko periods main sexy kapde pehne ka man karta hai, very good! esa kar tu ja yahan se, kisi kaam ka nahi hai” she said in an angry tone to which he frowned.
(“Yes, a girl feels like wearing sexy clothes during her periods, very good! Just go away, you’re of no use,” she said in an angry tone, to which he frowned.)

“sorry shivi lekin tu bata bhi toh nahi rahi ki hua kya hai, maine guess karne ki koshish ki..” before he could complete his sentence Shivi left her room and went out, he could hear that she was talking to someone..
(“Sorry Shivi, but you’re not even telling me what’s wrong. I was trying to guess...”) Before he could complete his sentence, Shivi left her room and went out; he could hear that she was talking to someone...

“koi baat nahi tu guess karta reh... main shopping karne ja natasha ke saath thodi der main aa jaongi..byeee” she said and left immediately, leaving Arjun even more confused.
(“No worries, keep guessing... I’m going shopping with Natasha, I’ll be back in a bit... bye!” she said and left immediately, leaving Arjun even more confused.)

Shivika called Natasha and told her to get ready because they were going on a little shopping trip. She soon reached Natasha's house. On the way, Shivika told her everything that had happened until then. They both discussed what Shivika should do and eventually decided that she should give him a chance, but without compromising her safety. So, before buying dresses, they bought a pepper spray just in case of any emergency.

Shivika tried many dresses, but she didn't like any of them. Some were too shiny, while others were too bland. Some were too tight, while others were too loose. Then, finally, she saw a dress that stole her whole attention. After trying it on, she knew this was the dress she wanted to wear.

''ghar par hi to mil rahe itna kyun taiyaar hone, bohot hot kya Mr. mystery man tera?'' Natasha asked

(“Why are you getting so ready if you’re just meeting at home? Is your Mr. Mystery Man that special?”)

''shut up natasha, ye uske liye nahi mere liye hai, maine bachpan se imagine kara tha meri pehli date ko. bhale hi jagah nahi lekin mere liye occasion to special hi hai na?'' Shivika replied proudly
(“Shut up, Natasha, this isn’t for him, it’s for me! I’ve imagined my first date since childhood. Even if it’s not a special place, it’s a special occasion for me, right?”)

"Haan haan, bilkul nahi hai neeli ankh wale bille ke liye"
("Yeah, yeah, definitely not for the blue-eyed cat.")

"Oye billa nahi hai! Bohot handsome hai"
("Hey, he’s not a cat! He’s very handsome.")

"Haan Haan neeli ankh wala handsome billa" they both laughed.
("Yeah, yeah, a handsome blue-eyed cat," they both laughed.)

Now, Shivika was nervous about the night. She dropped Natasha off and went back home. Arjun was waiting. He tried asking her again, but she kept talking about different things.

During dinner, she told everyone that she wasn't hungry. When Meera asked what had happened, she told her that she had eaten something with Natasha at the mall, so... Afterward, she finished her work quickly and went to her room. She thought of decorating it but dropped the idea, as it might look too desperate. She changed into a casual suit and started waiting for him. While waiting, she remembered the pepper spray. She got up and kept it in her drawer so that it would be easily accessible, many thoughts crossed her mind..

What if he tries to kiss me?

What if he doesn't want to kiss me?

What if he tries to murder me?

What if I chew my food too loudly and he finds it irritating and starts hating me?

She kept thinking until she heard a knock on her window...
