Author's pov

Ishaan tracked the location on his phone and arrived just as night fell. The house was hidden deep in the jungle, dark and isolated, with no guards around. It felt eerie and secretive, and without Naina's help, Ishaan and Samar would never have found it.

Stepping out of his car, Ishaan felt a familiar tension in his chest. As an assassin, he was used to missions like this, but this time was different-he had to save someone he cared about deeply. Climbing through a window, he took a deep breath and scanned the dimly lit room. After a few tense moments, he confirmed that only four men were inside.

With a steady heart, Ishaan moved quietly, taking them out one by one. Adrenaline surged through him, but beneath it all, fear pulsed-fear for Kabir, fear for Naina. He had to finish this.

"NAINA!!" he called out. She burst into the room, her face lighting up with relief as she threw her arms around him. In that moment, everything else faded away. Ishaan held her tightly, feeling the weight of the world lift, if only for a second.

"Kabir... Kabir, sir..." Naina gasped, breaking away and rushing to a locked room.

When Ishaan saw Kabir tied up inside, his heart shattered. Kabir looked more dead than alive, a mere shadow of the strong man he used to be. Without wasting a moment, Ishaan rushed to untie him, urgency and desperation driving his actions. They had to get to the hospital-time was running out.

Kabir was in critical condition. He was weak from starvation and the abuse he had suffered. The sight of him hurt Ishaan deeply. But somehow, Kabir clung to life. The guilt of betraying his friend, the pain of not protecting his brother, and the fear of what had happened to Naina kept him alive, even when everything seemed lost.

Once they were in the car, Ishaan quickly updated Samar on what had happened.

Samar let out a deep sigh of relief, grateful that his brother was safe. But as the reality of their ordeal settled in, a heavy weight pressed on him-there was still one last thing he needed to do.

-----------At Shivika's House------------

When shivika fainted. Arjun was taken aback; he never anticipated such an intense reaction. After what felt like an eternity, she slowly began to regain consciousness.

"Shivi, please, calm down. Everything will be okay," Arjun said softly, brushing his fingers through her hair as she sobbed uncontrollably.

"Nahi... sab kharab ho gaya," she choked out, clutching him tightly as if he were her only lifeline. (No... everything is ruined.)

"Shivi, wo insaan tumhe deserve nahi karta. Uske liye apne aansu mat barbaad karo," Arjun urged, his voice steady despite the turmoil in his heart. (Shivi, that person doesn't deserve you. Don't waste your tears on him.)

"Lekin meri kya galti thi? Usne itna bada dhoka diya. Agar tum na hote, toh bhagwan jaane mujhe kab pata chalta..." Shivika lamented, her voice thick with despair. (But what was my fault? He betrayed me so badly. If you weren't here, God knows when I would have found out...)

"Ab pata chal gaya na? Bas yahi matter karta hai. Main hoon na tumhare paas," Arjun reassured her, his grip tightening around her shoulders. (Now you know, right? That's all that matters. I'm here for you.)
