Taehyung laughed as chatted with Yerin.

They were enjoying a carefree afternoon together. They strolled through the trendy streets, sipping coffee and discussing music, fashion, and life.

Yerin leaned in, her voice taking on a persuasive tone. "Tae, I know we've talked about this before, but I really think you should consider leaving BTS. I know it's scary, but trust me, it's worth it."

Taehyung raised an eyebrow, hesitant. "I don't know, Yerin. I said I'd think about it, but I'm not sure."

Yerin's expression turned introspective. "I know how you feel. I was in a similar situation with GFRIEND. But after I left, I felt so free. I could finally pursue my own music, my own style. I wasn't held back by the group's image or schedule."

Taehyung listened intently, intrigued by Yerin's words.

"I'm not saying it's easy," Yerin continued. "But think about it, Tae. You're an incredibly talented artist, but you're stuck in a group that's holding you back. You deserve to shine on your own, to make music that's true to yourself."

Taehyung's resolve began to crumble, Yerin's words striking a chord deep within him.

"Plus, I'll be here to support you," Yerin added, her smile reassuring. "We can collaborate, create music together. The possibilities are endless."

Taehyung took a deep breath, his mind racing with the possibilities. He thought about Jennie, about Bangtan.

But Yerin's words drowned out his doubts.

"Okay," he said finally, a sense of determination washing over him.
"I'll do it. I'll leave BTS."

Yerin's face lit up with excitement, and she pulled Taehyung into a hug.
"I knew you could do it, Tae! You won't regret it."

As Taehyung dropped Yerin off at her home, his phone buzzed with an incoming call. He hesitated for a moment before answering, seeing Jungkook's name on the screen.

"Hey, Kook," Taehyung said, trying to sound casual.

"Hey, Tae! We've been trying to reach you for days!" Jungkook exclaimed, his voice bursting with excitement. "We're planning a surprise party to celebrate our 10th year anniversary, and we need your help!"

Taehyung's eyes widened, caught off guard. "A surprise party? That sounds amazing, Kook!"

"Yeah, we want to make it special," Jungkook said. "We're inviting some of the other BP members, but we specifically didn't invite Jennie."

Taehyung's heart skipped a beat, knowing where this was going.

"We know only you can reach her," Jimin chimed in, his voice teasing. "So, we want you to bring her with you to the party!"

Suga added, "Yeah, it'll be fun! We can't wait to see her reaction."

Taehyung's mind raced, unsure of how to respond. He hadn't told the others about his decision.

To leave BTS.

And he definitely hadn't told them about his conversations with Yerin.

"Uh, yeah, sure," Taehyung stammered, trying to play it cool. "I'll bring Jennie along."

Jungkook whooped in excitement. "Yes! We'll send you the details. See you soon, Tae!"

As the call ended, Taehyung felt a knot in his stomach. How was he going to navigate this situation? And what would Jennie say when she found out about the party?

Would she join him?

Taehyung's thoughts swirled with doubts and concerns as he reflected on his relationship with Jennie. He realized that being together was taking a toll on both of them.

Jennie's health was suffering, and his own priorities were becoming increasingly conflicted.

With a heavy heart, Taehyung came to a difficult conclusion.

Their relationship wasn't working.

He thought about how much they had both sacrificed for each other, but ultimately, it seemed like their love was causing more harm than good.

Before inviting Jennie to the BTS 10th anniversary party, Taehyung decided to end things with her. He knew it would be a painful conversation, but he believed it was necessary.

"I need to let her go," Taehyung thought, his voice barely above a whisper. "For her own good, and for mine."

With a sense of resolve, Taehyung steeled himself for the difficult conversation ahead. He knew it wouldn't be easy, but he hoped that in the end.

They could both find happiness and move forward, even if it meant being apart.

As Taehyung stepped out of his car and onto the wet pavement, the gray winter sky seemed to mirror his somber mood.

He hadn't seen Jennie in weeks.

And the thought of facing her now, with the intention of ending their relationship, filled him with anxiety.

He took a deep breath, the chilly air filling his lungs, and began walking towards Jennie's mom's house. The trees, bare and skeletal, swayed gently in the wind, their branches creaking softly.

Taehyung's heart raced as he approached the door. He hadn't prayed in a long time, but now, he found himself whispering a silent plea:

"Please let her be okay. Please let her have recovered."

He didn't know how he'd find the strength to have this conversation if Jennie was still struggling with her health.

The thought of adding to her pain was almost too much to bear.

With a sense of trepidation, Taehyung raised his hand and knocked on the door. The sound echoed through the stillness, and he waited.

His heart heavy with foreboding.

Taehyung knocked again, but the door remained still. He waited for what felt like an eternity, but there was no response. Confused, he slowly turned the handle and pushed the door open.

"Hello?" he called out, his voice barely above a whisper.

The house was quiet, except for the soft hum of the heater. Taehyung stepped inside, his eyes scanning the dimly lit hallway. He slipped off his shoes and moved cautiously, feeling like an intruder.

Taehyung's eyes scanned the empty living room, a sense of unease growing inside him. He called out again.

"Jennie? Hello?" But there was only silence.

He moved from room to room, searching for any sign of her. The house was quiet, except for the soft hum of appliances. As he entered the kitchen, his gaze fell upon a note on the fridge.

His heart skipped a beat as he read the words, scribbled in a hurried hand:

"Jennie, please don't starve yourself! Eat something, even if it's just a little. And don't forget to take your medicine!
— Mom

He felt a pang of guilt for not being there for her, for not noticing her struggles sooner.

He had been so caught up in his own world, his own doubts and fears.

With a sense of determination, Taehyung decided to find Jennie, to make sure she was okay. He would face whatever was going on.

Together with her.
