As Jennie continued eating, Taehyung started talking, his voice soft and gentle.

"Jennie, can we talk about us?"

Jennie nodded, her mouth full of pasta. She chewed slowly, her eyes fixed on Taehyung's face.

"I think we both know that things haven't been working out between us," Taehyung said, his eyes filled with sadness. "We've grown apart, and I think it's time we faced the truth."

Jennie swallowed her food, her expression thoughtful. She took a sip of tea, her eyes never leaving Taehyung's face.

"I think you're right," she said finally, her voice soft. "I've been feeling it too."

Taehyung nodded, his eyes filled with regret. "I think we should break up, Jennie. For good."

Jennie's expression didn't change, but she nodded slowly, her eyes still fixed on Taehyung's face.

As they talked, Jennie continued eating, her movements slow and deliberate. She seemed lost in thought, her mind processing the end of their relationship.

Taehyung watched her, his heart heavy with sadness. He knew it was over, and he couldn't blame her.

He had failed her, and he knew it.

Jennie set her spoon down, her eyes narrowing slightly. "Taehyung, can I ask you something?"

"Of course, Jennie," Taehyung replied, his eyes wary.

"Why did you call me lazy when I was sick?" Jennie asked, her voice soft but laced with hurt. "Why did you treat me like that?"

Taehyung's eyes dropped, his face filled with regret. "Jennie, I'm so sorry. I was exhausted, drained from my schedules and performances. I wasn't thinking, and I took it out on you."

Jennie's expression didn't change, but Taehyung could see the pain in her eyes.

"It's not just that," Taehyung continued. "PD-nim has been trying to sabotage me, pushing me to my limits, trying to make me crack. I was under so much pressure, and I didn't know how to handle it."

Jennie's eyes sparkled with a knowing glint. "So, Taehyung, what's your plan to deal with Bang PD's sabotage?"

Taehyung's mind wandered back to the words that had been echoing in his thoughts for weeks...

"Leave HYBE, leave BTS...start fresh."

Yerin's words had struck a chord deep within him, and he couldn't shake them off.

As he looked at Jennie, he hesitated. Should he reveal his doubts and fears to her? Or should he keep them locked away, hidden behind a mask of confidence?

But something about Jennie's gentle gaze put him at ease. He took a deep breath, and the words tumbled out of his mouth like a confession.

"Jennie, I've been thinking...about leaving HYBE, leaving BTS. Starting fresh."

His heart raced as he waited for her response, his mind screaming "What have I done?!"

Jennie's expression turned from concern to shock, and then to anger. "Taehyung, are you kidding me? You're thinking of leaving BTS? The group that made you who you are today?"

Taehyung nodded, his eyes dropping in shame.

Jennie's voice rose. "How could you even think of abandoning them like that? After everything you've been through together?"

Taehyung sighed, trying to explain. "Jennie, it's not like that. I'm just feeling suffocated, trapped. I need to break free."

Jennie's anger didn't subside. "Suffocated? Trapped? You think you're the only one who's felt that way? YG tried to sabotage us too, Blackpink. But did we give up? No, we fought back, and we're still standing."
