Taehyung searched the living room for the medicines, his eyes scanning the shelves. That's when he saw it - a photo frame with a picture of Hanbin and Jennie smiling together.

They looked...close.

Taehyung's brow furrowed, a spark of confusion igniting within him. What was this? He hadn't known Hanbin and Jennie still were that friendly. A pang of...something else crept in, making his chest feel tight.

Was it jealousy?

Taehyung's mind raced as he tried to process his emotions. He hadn't expected to see Jennie with someone else, especially not like this. He felt like he'd been punched in the gut.

Shaking his head, Taehyung tried to clear his thoughts. What was he thinking?

He and Jennie were just friends now. He had no right to feel this way.

But as he put the photo frame back, his eyes lingered on the image, his mind whirling with questions. Who took this picture? When was it taken? And why did it make him feel so...off?

Taehyung returned with the medicine, his expression softening as he approached Jennie. "Here, take this," he said gently, handing her the pills and a glass of water.

Jennie smiled weakly, taking the medicine from him. As she swallowed the pills, Taehyung's eyes never left hers, his gaze filled with concern.

Once she'd taken the medicine, Taehyung's expression turned curious. "Jennie...can I ask you something?"

Jennie nodded, her eyes sparkling with curiosity.

Taehyung hesitated, his words tumbling out in a rush. "You and Hanbin...?"

Jennie's eyebrows shot up, a hint of surprise on her face. "What about us?"

Taehyung's eyes locked onto hers, his voice barely above a whisper. "Are you two...together?"

Jennie's laughter was soft, but Taehyung's heart skipped a beat as he waited for her response.

Jennie's smile was enigmatic, her eyes sparkling with a hint of mischief. "Well, Taehyung...I've been thinking about giving Hanbin a chance."

Taehyung's expression faltered, his eyes widening in surprise. "Oh?"

Jennie nodded, her voice casual. "Yeah, he's always been there for me when I'm sick, taking care of me along with his sister. He's really sweet, and I think...maybe it's time I gave him a chance."

Taehyung's face fell, a pang of jealousy stabbing at his heart. He hadn't expected Jennie to move on so quickly, especially not with Hanbin whom her mom always wanted to replace him with.

But Jennie's words were laced with a hidden intention - she wanted Taehyung to know she was moving on, to make it easier for him to do the same.

Little did she know, her words had the opposite effect.

Taehyung's eyes dropped, his voice barely above a whisper. "I...I see."

Jennie's gaze turned playful, her eyes sparkling with amusement. "So, Taehyung...how's Yerin?"

Taehyung's eyes widened in shock, his face pale. "Y-Yerin?"

Jennie's smile grew, her voice teasing. "Yes, Yerin! I know all about her, Taehyung. You don't have to hide it from me."

Taehyung's mind reeled, his thoughts racing. How did Jennie know about Yerin? He hadn't told her, had he?

Jennie's expression softened, her voice gentle. "Taehyung, don't worry about it. You should move on, and I'm happy to see you're doing that. Yerin is nice, and I'm sure she makes you happy."

Taehyung's eyes narrowed, his voice laced with skepticism. "You're okay..with this?"

Jennie chuckled, her smile radiant. "Yes, Taehyung. I'm just happy to see you moving on. And who knows? Maybe we can move on together, as friends."

Taehyung's gaze lingered on Jennie's face, searching for any hint of insincerity.

But all he saw was genuine warmth and friendship.

His heart swelled with unknown emotion, his voice barely above a whisper. "Thanks, Jennie"

Taehyung's heart ached as he gazed at Jennie, his mind racing with emotions he couldn't quite process. He still had feelings for her, feelings he thought had long faded.

Seeing her with Hanbin, even if it was just a ruse, had stirred up a mix of jealousy and longing.

Jennie's words had been laced with a false sweetness, encouraging Taehyung to move on with YeRin. But inside, she seethed with hurt and frustration. Why had he sought comfort in Yerin's arms when she was right there, available to him?

It felt like a betrayal, a reminder that she wasn't enough.

As she looked at Taehyung, Jennie's heart ached with a mix of sadness and anger. She didn't want him to move on, didn't want him to be with anyone else. But at the same time, she felt like he saw her as a burden, a source of annoyance and stress.

Yerin, on the other hand, seemed to bring him relief, comfort, and peace.

Jennie's thoughts swirled with conflicting emotions, her mind racing with questions.

Why did he choose Yerin over her?

Was she really that difficult to be with? The pain and hurt simmered just below the surface, threatening to boil over at any moment.

Meanwhile, Taehyung remained oblivious to Jennie's inner turmoil, his own emotions still reeling from their earlier conversation.

Little did he know, Jennie's words had been a facade, hiding a depth of feeling he couldn't even begin to imagine.

As they sat there, the tension between them was palpable. Both of them were struggling to come to terms with their lingering feelings, feelings they couldn't quite express.

They were trapped in a web of unspoken emotions, unsure of how to escape.

Taehyung's eyes searched Jennie's face, looking for answers to questions he couldn't ask. Jennie's gaze dropped, her heart heavy with emotions she couldn't quite confront.

The silence between them was deafening, a silence that spoke volumes about their unresolved feelings.
