It was now Christmas Eve and the house was fully decorated finally. I loved Christmas it was always my favourite time of the year. Dad always made sure to make it special and each year was different.

I was so excited because all our family are coming over tomorrow and my cousins which I haven't see in ages. Kaiden and willow are my cousins and I love having them round since I'm normally the only kid around and it gets lonely sometimes and definitely boring.

I walked into the living room where I saw dad finishing off the finally wrapping of presents whilst watching a Christmas movie.

"You ok princess?" Dad asks as he continues to wrap the presents.

"Yeah do you want me to help with any of these?" I ask wanting to do something helpful.

"No it's ok I've only got a few left" he say as he starts putting all the presents presented nicely under the tree.

I looked at all the presents under there for our family as I remembered I still needed to finish dad's present.

I finally went up to my room as I get out his gift. I didn't have a lot of money and I wanted to do something that he would be able to keep and look back on forever.

That's why I decided to make a scrapbook of all of our memories and fun times we had shared with one another.

I managed to find loads of photos and printed them out. I printed out pictures of us from when I was a baby all the way up till now.

I stuck all the of the pictures down on all the pages on the book and wrote little notes and stories along with them to remind him of all the fun times we had.

I want to show this to him to show him how grateful I am for him and grateful for everything he's done for me.

I decorated the pages and wrote on the top of the page each different year and the place we went to with the page carefully organised with pictures and notes with it beautifully decorated with drawings and colours round the outside.

There was one page of us going to Disneyland when I was 7. And there was one specific photo I will always remember forever. When he took me to go and meet Cinderella. She was always my favourite Disney princess and I was obsessed with her when I was little. I remember as he made me look exactly like Cinderella with the matching dress and shoes. And even the matching hair in the photo. I honestly look like the happiest kid in the world.

I added a little note under it saying "thanks for making my dreams always come true"

I also found pictures of me and my dad on the first day of primary school when I was 4. And also my first day of secondary school several months ago.

I placed the photos next to each other and I look at the difference between us in the photos.

I put a little message under saying 'same place 7 years apart. But you've always taught me to be brave and no matter how nervous I was, just to believe in myself. Thank you dad for being my biggest supporter'

I put loads of other memories in there loads from when I went on holiday when I was younger and loads of Christmas'. I filled the pages with lots of little funny messages and nicely decorated.

I also found loads of funny cute photos of us when I used to go to his races when I was really little. I always looked so happy to be there.
I even found a photos of me in his McLaren car when I was around 2.

On the final page I put pictures of all the times he won the championship. I look back at the photos as I look at me the first time in 2014 when he won his second championship and his most recent one in 2020. I was only 4 in 2014 but I could tell by my face how proud I was of him.
