Chapter Seventeen Cana and Erza Talk

August 29th X798

(Cana Alberona) After Natsu's graphic nightmare last night I'm very concerned for him, During breakfast the three of us talked about everything except the nightmare and I could tell that Erza wanted to ask what the nightmare was about but I looked at her and I shook my head and I mouthed later which satisfied Erza and it put her at ease.

After breakfast Erza suggested that Natsu go and play with his toys in the playroom while her and I talked about things, Natsu hesitantly left to go and play with his toys with Happy, Once Natsu had left the living room and headed to his playroom thus leaving Erza and I alone Erza looked at me and she asked me with a soft voice What Happened in the Nightmare babe?

I then proceeded to fill her in on the details of the nightmare that Natsu had experienced last night, Once I had finished my explanation of the nightmare Erza had tears at the corner of her eyes Erza asked with hurt in her voice Why didn't Natsu wake me up when he got up during the night? I scooted closer to Erza and I said You have to remember Erza that whenever Natsu had a nightmare like this in the past he wouldn't tell anyone, Maybe he felt that you wouldn't understand what the nightmare was about.

How can I be a good mama to my little dragon if he doesn't open up to me or you? I honestly don't know Erza I really don't know what to do either but the best thing we can do is just be there for Natsu whenever he needs help, Maybe we should take him to see Mavis and see if she can help him with any kind of solution, Erza let out a sigh and said you're right Cana.

This has been a huge adjustment for all of us Erza but we have to remain patient because if either of try to force Natsu to open up to us there'll be serious repercussions, Erza said you're right again Cana then she laid her head onto my shoulder, Erza then said I really appreciate you moving into here with Natsu and I it helps knowing there's someone else here to help us.

It's a pleasure to be here for you and Natsu and I can feel that with time we can grow even closer as a family and who knows that you and I could get married Erza! Erza's face turned as red as her hair and she started to stutter out nonsense, Apparently I managed to leave the legendary Titania speechless.

This is an impressive feat to do and before I could say anything else Natsu ran into the room and he said MAMA Fight Me! I couldn't help but laugh at how adorable the threat was, my my little dragon has got fire Erza teased him which made Natsu blush with embarrassment, Come here my little dragon! Natsu climbed onto the couch and he curled up into my lap and we had a nice family bonding time together.
