(Levy McGarden) Natsu was crying on my lap after I had finished tanning his hide for destroying the book that I had been working on for months, I started to gently rub his back and I said it's okay honey I'm done with your punishment look Auntie is very sorry that she had to punish you but you've been very naughty lately, I carefully lifted Natsu up off my lap and I spoke softly again can you look up at me cutie?
Natsu hesitantly looked up at me and I said what do you say for not only burning Auntie's book because you got angry because I had said that it was nap time, but also for the other times you caused mischief while Gajeel and I have been watching you while your mothers are on vacation the last couple of days? Natsu said quietly I'm sorry Auntie Levy please don't punish me anymore.
Oh honey I think you are starting to learn the lesson of when I ask or tell you to do something I mean it, so I'm not going to continue to punish you. And on top of that whenever you misbehave while you're under my care there will be consequences
I could see that Natsu was starting to calm down and I said can you smile for me hon? Natsu gave me a toothy smile and I said there is the smile that I love, tell you what if I join you for nap time while you sleep will you take a nap without a fight? Natsu nodded his head and said yes I will Auntie Levy! Good Boy I praised him.
Come on honey I said as I stood up out of my chair and I walked with Natsu in my arms to the guest bedroom for children to sleep in when they visit mine and Gajeel's house, our son Nathan is off spending the next few days at his Aunt Wendy's home thus leaving Gajeel and I temporarily empty-nesters until Erza and Cana dropped off Natsu last night so we could watch him!
Alright kiddo it's nap time I said as I walked into the kids guest bedroom, Natsu started to squirm slightly in my arms, it's okay hon I will stay with you the entire time you are sleeping, Once I had reached the bed I gently placed Natsu onto the bed before I pulled back the covers, once the covers had been pulled back I laid Natsu down before I covered him with the covers.
I walked around the bed and I climbed into the bed on the opposite side of Natsu and I said I want you to know that Gajeel and I love you so much in the entirety of Fiore and it really hurt me that I had to punish you for misbehaving, but do know that I only want you to learn that actions have consequences either good or bad!
Rest well sweetie and I will be here when you wake up from your nap I then placed a kiss onto Natsu's forehead and then I remained in the bed next to him throughout his nap.
