Chapter Fifteen Return of Mama Titania

(Natsu Dragneel Scarlet) I'm very excited for tonight mama will be returning home from her mission and I'm on the edge of my seat, Hopefully mama doesn't punish me to severely for fighting with Gray anyways I'm playing with my big sister Wendy while Gray is napping and Lucy's writing, Tag your it Wendy said as she tagged me, no fair sis! How'd you even manage to find me? I asked as I was hiding behind the request board.

You forget that I'm a dragon slayer like you little brother who has a great sense of smell, I pouted and I said with a whine ah man no fair I specifically said no using magic Wendy! I honestly felt that Wendy had cheated so I sidestepped her and and I then tried to run away from her and I would've made it outside had a strong aqua hand hadn't grabbed my shoulder, What's the hurry young one?

I then was gently turned around and I came face to face with Big Sister Aquarius she had a concerned look on her face, NOTHINGS WRONG I screamed and then I ran out of the guildhall and I ran and ran until I reached mine and Mama's home, I just had to get away from everything and everyone because I'm having a bad day, Today would've been Igneel's birthday.

When I arrived at our apartment I used the spare key to unlock the door and I then put the key back where it originally was, I then walked over to my bed and I then collapsed onto the bed and I then cried myself to sleep, I tossed and turned in the bed, I miss mama and Igneel.

(Erza Scarlet) I arrived back at the guild with Ultear Meredy and Juvia following closely behind me, when I walked through the doors of the guildhall I scanned the room for my son, Wendy and Aquarius came up to me and they both informed me on what happened just prior to my arrival back at the guildhall, Cana informed me of Gray and Natsu's fight a few days ago and a punishment will be dealt out in due time but right now my son needs me.

I then quickly left the guildhall and I went to the place I knew where my son would be our apartment, When I arrived at our home I quickly unlocked the door and I went inside the apartment, When I went to my bedroom I found Natsu sleeping on my bed with dried tear marks on his face.

I walked over to the bed and I sat down on the bed and I gently rubbed his back with the fingers on my right hand, I sang an old lullaby that my mom used to sing to me at bedtime when I was a child prior to the years I spent in slavery, I will always be here for you Natsu I promise, You are one of the most important people in my life, You've always been there for me when I needed love and support.

And I will be here if you ever need me for love or advice on anything, I love you forevermore my son I then gently placed a kiss onto his forehead, I heard Natsu mumble in his sleep as tears poured down his face I'm sorry Igneel I wasn't strong enough to save you! My heart shattered because I remember that today would've been Igneel 4,010 birthday but he sacrificed himself fighting Acnologia.

I laid down on the bed and I gently lifted Natsu up and I placed him on my chest and I held him as he cried out in anguish, All I could do was hold him in my arms as cried I spoke softly into his ear Natsu Igneel sacrificed his life to give us a chance to beat Acnologia and end his threat to the world, If you would've help him you would've died along with him my son.

I will never ever replace Igneel Natsu but I promise you that I will honor his sacrifice and memory by raising you to the greatest hero again, You are my little dragon and I'm proud of the person you've become and I know that Igneel is proud of you as well my dragon, Cana eventually entered the room and she laid down on the opposite side of Natsu and I.

Cana and I stayed like this all day comforting our little dragon, I'm so very grateful for such a wonderful girlfriend such as her.
