(Meredy Milkovich) Tomorrow I'm going to be throwing a family dinner party for my immediate family which consists of Mom Gray Lucy and myself Erza Cana and Natsu, Lucy is very excited for dinner tonight especially because she gets to see her whole family especially her nana Ultear, Mommy I heard the sound of Lucy whimpering from upstairs Yes darling I asked as I walked upstairs to check on my little girl.
Once I had climbed the stairs to the second floor I walked down the hallway until arrived at Lucy's bedroom and I knocked on the door and I asked Luce may I come inside hon? Lucy called from the other side of the door Come in mom! I then opened the door and I walked inside Lucy's room and once inside I saw that Lucy was sitting on her bad with a sad look on her face.
Is everything okay hon? I asked as I walked over to the bed and I sat down on the bed next her, Lucy said with a sad face tonight is mommy's birthday, I immediately knew that Lucy was talking about Aunt Layla and so I pulled Lucy into a tight hug and I held her against my chest as she started to tear up, it's okay Princess it's okay to cry if you need to, I will be here for as long as you need me hon!
Eventually Lucy started to calm down and eventually her cries subsided and I asked her You all set kiddo? Lucy nodded her head and she said yeah I'm okay Mama I'm sorry for crying on your chest! Aw you don't have to apologize hunny for crying because crying is a natural thing to do on sad days I said as I rubbed my adopted daughter's back, Are you excited for family dinner tomorrow night?
Lucy said with a small smile yeah I'm excited because I get to see nana as well as my boyfriend Natsu! Slow down there squirt you are still too young to have a boyfriend which earned me a little frown, I'm just teasing you kiddo I then rubbed her back, I'll tell you what how about after dinner you can help me make the dessert for our guests Does that sound like fun?
Lucy excitedly nodded her head and she said can we make strawberry cheesecake pie mama? We can make a strawberry cheesecake pie dear and I'm willing to bet that Erza would love the strawberry cheesecake pie as the dessert, Lucy's face lit up with happiness and she jumped up from the bed with joy.
I then said why don't I treat you to a nice hot bubble bath with extra bath bombs and Lucy said okay I will meet you in the bathroom Mama Lucy then zoomed out of the room and she ran to the bathroom, I can't believe that Lucy's under my watch and I try to do my best to live up to Aunt Layla's expectations and legacy.
