Rena: Code 143

Important Announcement

Dear Lovely Readers,

I have a few important announcements to share with you. First, Rena: Code 143 will no longer be available for free on Inkitt and Wattpad. For those who haven't been with us from the start, Rena was initially meant to be just a sample, with only 10 chapters released. However, due to the encouragement of early readers, I decided to fully publish it on these platforms. My initial plan was to remove it entirely after completing it, but I understand that many of you enjoy rereading the story, and some may not finish it before it's taken down. Therefore, I've decided to make Rena: Code 143 available on Inkitt's Subscription service for a monthly fee of $4. I will leave a few chapters up as a sample, but the rest will be available on the paid platforms. I was originally going to put it on Patreon, but the fees went up for IOS users, so I've decided against that. Plus, Inkitt is a bit more reliable and easier to use since it's a book platform.

Regarding bonus chapters, I will post two bonus chapters for book one on the free platforms, but the rest will be exclusive to the paid platforms. I will also allow readers to inquire about scenes they may want to see for the bonus chapters. This means that there will be updates for bonus chapters as well since I need to develop them.

As for book two, Rena: Code 470, it will also be available on the paid platform for a monthly fee of $5. I will continue to update weekly, with 2-3 updates per month. For those concerned, book two will remain on Wattpad and Inkitt for the time being. However, it will not be updated as frequently as on the paid platforms—only one chapter per month. If I post an extra chapter on Inkitt subscription, I will do the same for the free platforms.

You might be wondering why I'm transitioning to a paid platform. Rest assured, this isn't about trying to scam anyone. The reality is that it takes time and resources to properly revise and publish a book. I want to ensure that I can do this right, with a new cover and effective marketing, and this requires financial support. Additionally, I'm saving for college as I pursue an education in the medical field (yes, I've switched majors). I completely understand if some of you may not be able to afford the subscription or simply don't wish to pay for the content. Please know that I'm not forcing anyone, and there are no hard feelings if you decide not to subscribe. Your support means the world to me, whether it's through reading, commenting, or just being part of this journey.

If you're considering subscribing, here's why you might find it worthwhile. I consistently post quality content. My chapters are typically quite substantial, with the shortest being around 4-5 pages (approximately 1,500–2,000 words) and the longest reaching 23-25 pages (approximately 9,000–10,000 words). I update weekly, and if I miss an update, I always make up for it by either extending the next chapter or releasing an extra chapter the following week. You can see from the reviews that, even as a first draft, my story has been praised for its compelling plot, romance, diversity, and realistic elements. By subscribing, you will have access to each book and bonus chapters, depending on the tier you choose. Tier 1 is $4 per month for book one of Rena: Code 143 (excluding bonus chapters). Tier 2 is $5 per month for book two, Rena: Code 470. Tier 3 is $10 per month, granting all-access to everything related to the Pager Series (books 1 & 2, along with bonus chapters from book 1).

Additionally, many of you have enjoyed the quizzes on my Instagram stories, so I plan to continue that. I will be making an official quiz for book one of Rena, likely hosted on Quizlet, as that's the platform I'm most familiar with.

The next chapter of book 2 will be published on September 1st, 2024 on Inkitt subscription.

The first chapter of book 2 was released early for the month of September which means the free chapter will become available October 1st.

Book 1 will most likely be cut into the sample by September 30th, 2024. So if you'd like to reread it or want to finish the story before it costs money, you have a month to do so.
