Nick POV:

I'm doing some shopping when I see someone I really don't want to see

Ben

He's buying condoms and lube, so I guess he as moved on?

I finished the shopping when I get a message from mum asking if want to come over. just to catch up, and I obviously can't say no to that! 

I'm in the car listening to me and Charlie's favourite playlist, the one with all of our favourite songs 

Once I get to my mum's house I text Charlie telling him I will be back in an hour, I wait a couple minutes but no answer. 

Weird? 

I just walk inside, greeted by Henry the second I come in. I pick him up and hug mum as good as I can whit Henry in my arms.

"Hey Nicky! How are you doing?" Mum ask me 

"It's Okay I guess" I tell her, putting Henry down 

"Is something wrong" she asks me I nodd since something is in fact wrong 

"Oh come on then, I'll make us some tea" she says, bringing me into the kitchen. 

Mum makes us the tea while I sit down at the kitchen table. 

I remember all the 'tea talks' we have had in this kitchen, it looks exactly the same how it used to only different is that mum have gotten some new plates.

I remember coming out to her in this kitchen and having deep conversations with her.

I also remember making different food dishes with Charlie, and comforting him when his eating disorder was at its worst.

And I know this sounds very bad but I think his eating disorder brought us closer, of course I would never wish an eating disorder on any one. But when he has one I'm glad it brought us closer and didn't distended us.

"What are you thinking about?" Mum asks me, giving me my tea.

"When I came out to you" I say smiling and taking a sip of my tea

"That's one of my favourite moments whit you" mum says smiling at the memorie

"Anyway, what did you wanna talk about?" Mum asks me

"I saw Charlie's ex's at the store" I say, not really knowing how to put it.

"From when you broke up for two weeks?" She asks. It still hurts to think about it, it's stupid really but it's the truth.

"No before we got together.  Before I knew I'm bisexual" I say

"Okay, but what's so bad about him? Since I assume it was a boy?" Mum asks 

"Yes it was a boy, and he kissed Charlie without his consent" I say looking down 

"He sexually assaulted Charlie!" She gasps, I wince at the worst 

"Yeah" I whisper, tears treating to fall

"Don't tell him I said anything, I'm not supposed to tell anyone.  We laid it behind us." I say, tears now falling down my face 

"Oh Nicky, it's Okay I won't tell him. I promise" mum says, bringing me into a hug

After I spent some time catching up with mum I went home.
