Valentine

Charlie POV: 

It's been one, nearly two months since new year's eve, and nothing particular exciting has happened. Adrian and Jack still hasn't told us what's going on, but their mood has been a lot better. Lily has been eating more, atleast at home, and I think she is at school to, but I know she's not able to eat everything every day. 

Nick is back at work, I still drive him there every day since he doesn't want to drive, it's still scary for him, but he's getting better. 

And luckily the tension between Adrian and Lily is gone, it took over a week but their alright now. 

Either way, today is valentine's day. Adrian and Jack are going to the mall to buy gifts for each other, they decided they would go together and they could both decide what they want then the other will buy it for them, their plan is to make a little date out of it. After that they are going to the movies with their friends to 'show support to the singles'. And last thing they are doing is going to dinner. Obviously all of this will be happening after school, they will just get home, change, and then leave again. 

Lily is still single and did not want to be around any couples, so she's getting picked up by Nick's mum after school, and she will be sleeping there till tomorrow. Emily tried to fix things between her and Lily, and at first she did, and they dated for like a week, but then Emily asked Lily for THOSE kinda pictures and Lily broke it off between them. Since then Emily has tried getting back together with Lily, but she's failed every time and has now stopped. 

Me and Nick don't really have that big plans, our plans are just making food together at home, watch a movie and give each other gifts. And probably have sex, it's not planned , but come on it's us we're talking about! 

Right now I have just gotten back home from dropping the kids and Nick of at school. We have recently finished up the big project we had so work is a lot calmer now.

I do some work beforee ventually the time to pick up Nick and the kids rolls around. I close down my work before changing my sweatpants to my classic skinny jeans, and I'm already wearing one of Nick's hoodies so I don't change that. 

I grap my keys before making sure the door is locked and getting in the car.  On the drive to the school I lisen to music from a playlist Nick made me for valentine years ago, before we had kids, I basically know all the song by heart

Once I get to the school Nick and the kids are already waiting outside of Truham. Lily's not here though since she's getting picked up by Nick's mum.

"Did you all have a great day?" I ask the boys when they get into the back seat 

"Yes, Adrian got a love letter" Jack snicker 

"It wasn't a love letter" Adrian groans 

"Yes it was!" Jack insists "it literally said; I love you, your so brave and cool" Jack tease 

"It was from a little kid that looks up to me!" Adrian laughs 

"Well I think he's in love with you" Jack chuckles "not more than me though, I love you the most in the world" he says, pressing a soft kiss to Adrian's lips 

"I love you too" Adrian mumbles, going red from the kiss 

"Your so cute" Jack giggles 

"How was your day?" I ask, looking over at Nick 

"It was good" Nick smiles "I caught so many couples making out in empty class rooms, librarys and a bunch of other places" he tells me, glancing back at Adrian and Jack "some boys even managed to sneak girls over from Higgs!" He laughs
