Family time

Nick POV: 

"We are home" I yell out once we get inside the house 

"Papa are you Okay?" Lily ask running up to me

"Yes ofcourse" I smile at her

"Nick you have a broken arm and a concussion" Charlie reminds me

"Well I'm as fine as  can be whit a broken arm and a concussion" I laugh 

"Good, I made brownies and you are gonna love them" Lily says smiling 

"I'm sure I will, but I won't taste before I get a hug" I tell her opening my arms, she hugs me tight 

Charlie kisses me on the cheek before walking into the living room 

"Okay that's enough, I also want a hug" Adrian complains, Lily let me go and Adrian hugs me even tighter 

"You serious need to try Lily's brownies, they are the best" Adrian says as he let's me go

"That was my plan" I say as we all walk into the living room where Charlie are sitting on the couch reading something on his phone 

"Where are Jack?" I ask Adrian since I can't see him anywhere 

"He is out playing football with some off his friends" Adrian says annoyed 

"You know that he needs to spend time with other people to, right?" I ask  him 

"a relationship can get toxic if you don't let the other person be whit other people " Charlie chimes in

"It's not that, well kinda. But first of all we were supposed to go on a date since it's our two year anniversary, we have been planning this day for like over a month. But I guess I get it, the plans aren't before later.  But the reason I salty about it is because they are also my friends, they all know about us and know it's our anniversary , but none off them thought to invite me, not even Jack!" Adrian  says, looking like he's hurt and just mentally tired of it

"I'm so sorry Adrian" Charlie says rubbing his back 

"I propose the idea off having family time now, and when Jack gets back you can have your date, and talk about how you feel about not being invited. What do you think about that?" I ask

"That sounds good" 

"Wait a minute, aren't you guys supposed to be at school?" Charlie asks, looking from Lily and Adrian confused 

"Dad it's Saturday" Adrian says rolling his eyes 

"Oh well, we should go to the store and get candy" Charlie says cheerfully 

"But you will stay here mister, the doctor said to not use to much screen and rest" he says pointing to me

"Yeah Okay"

"Let's go and change, than we can go to the store" Charlie says standing up from the couch 

"Wait were is my mum?" I ask Adrian and Lily 

"She had work so she left, but we have only been home alone for an hour or something when you came back" Lily says 

"She told me that, anyway let's go change Nick" Charlie says holding out his hand for me, I take it and we go upstairs 

"Why can't I come with you to the store?" I ask, knowing how childish that sounds 

"Well you can chose, either you come to the store with us and you can not do a family activity later tonight. Or you stay home and rest so you can do a family activity later tonight " Charlie says opening the wardrobe and taking out a pair of pj pants and a grey kinda to big t-shirt for me
