Hey, my lovelies! This is the final part of the Open series. It's been fun. I will continue with more oneshots after this. I promise! Enjoy! 😘

Fantasia and the kids were only supposed to be on vacation for two weeks. But that ended up turning into a month, thanks to Taraji. She extended their stay so that she could get to know the three of them better. If she and Fantasia were going to be in a serious relationship, quality time was extremely important.

Regina, Mary, Danielle, and Tabitha all left after the two weeks were up. They had jobs to get back to. Taraji, on the other hand, had been told by her employees to take all the time away that she needed. They felt like their boss worked too hard and too much; she deserved a break. And her leadership had only created more leaders, so her company flowed smoothly even in her absence.

Dallas and Keziah were having the time of their lives. Taraji took them to museums and arcades, but their favorite part of their vacation was getting to know her. Keziah had a great deal of questions every day, and Taraji answered them without hesitation. Dallas liked playing video games with Taraji; she was actually good at them, unlike his mama.

"Mama, can we move here?" Keziah asked. Their time at the beach was almost up, and she didn't want to go home. Fantasia laughed. Her daughter had asked that question for the past few days. They were all dreading going back to the real world. "No, baby, but I promise we can visit again. Don't you miss Gram?" Keziah tapped her chin with her finger, like she really had to think about it. Everyone laughed. "Okay, we can go home," she finally said, like she really had a choice.

Taraji, Fantasia, and the kids enjoyed their final days at the beach. It had been a magical stay, but tomorrow they would be headed home. "I'm with Keziah now; do we have to go?" Taraji asked as Fantasia held her in her arms. She had a slight pout on her face. "Yes, you have to get back to work, and school starts soon. I still have to take the kids shopping. They both need new everything. They are growing like weeds."

Taraji hummed but didn't say anything. She had already shopped online with Dallas and Keziah. She bought them school clothes, underwear, socks, and shoes. Their stuff would be at her house by the time they returned home. Fantasia didn't know because Taraji had sent her off to the spa. Taraji wasn't trying to overstep or buy the children's affection; she just wanted to take some of the weight off of Fantasia's shoulders. Kendall wasn't paying his child support or alimony like he was supposed to be doing.

Fantasia woke up and stretched. She was surprised her alarm clock hadn’t gone off yet. She looked over at the time and jumped up in a panic. By now, she would have already done her morning routine, gotten the kids up, and started breakfast. But for some strange reason, her alarm didn’t go off. Did I forget to set it? She wondered.

Fantasia rushed into the bathroom, washed her face, and brushed her teeth. Then she headed out of the room to go wake her children up. They were going to be late for school on the first day. Fantasia had done all that without even realizing her sleeping companion from last night wasn’t in bed.

Fantasia went into Keziah’s room, but her daughter was nowhere to be found. Maybe she had a bad dream and slept with Dallas, Fantasia thought. That happened a lot. Her children tried to act like they didn't like each other, but they were two peas in a pod. Fantasia checked her son’s room, but her children weren’t in there either. Suddenly, she heard laughter. Had they gotten themselves up? Dallas, maybe. But Keziah, no way. Fantasia headed downstairs.
