Riwoo's POV:

As I walk into school, I can't help but think about Woonhak. He's been on my mind all night, and I'm worried about him. I haven't seen him like this before, and I don't know how to help.

I spot Jaehyun and Sungho by the lockers, and I head over to them. "Hey, guys. Have you seen Woonhak yet?"

Jaehyun shakes his head. "Not yet. But I'm sure he'll be here soon."

Sungho looks concerned. "Yeah, I've been thinking about him all night. We need to do something to help him."

I nod in agreement. "I know. I've been thinking the same thing. Let's try to talk to him again today, see if we can get him to open up."

Just then, Woonhak walks into view, looking like he's carrying the weight of the world on his shoulders. My heart goes out to him, and I know I have to do something to help.

"Hey, Woonhak," I say softly, trying to get his attention.

He looks up, and for a moment, our eyes lock. I can see the pain and sadness there, and it breaks my heart.

"Hey," he says quietly, looking away.

I know I have to tread carefully. I don't want to push him away. But I also know I have to be there for him, no matter what.

"Hey, Woonhak, can we talk?" I ask gently.

He hesitates for a moment, then nods. "Yeah. Sure."

I breathe a sigh of relief. Maybe, just maybe, we can get through to him today.

I sit down next to Woonhak and try to start a conversation. "Hey, Woonhak, what's going on? You seem really upset lately."

Woonhak shrugs, avoiding eye contact. "I'm fine, Riwoo. Just stressed about school stuff."

I notice that his voice is shaking, and his eyes are welling up with tears. I know he's lying, but I don't want to push him.

"Okay, if you're sure," I say softly. "But if you ever want to talk, I'm here for you."

Woonhak nods, still avoiding eye contact.

As we enter class, Taesan sits down next to me and whispers, "Hey, how's Woonhak doing?"

I shake my head, concerned. "He says he's fine, but I know he's lying. I don't know what's going on with him."

Taesan looks worried. "Yeah, I've noticed it too. We need to keep an eye on him."

I nod. "Definitely. I just wish he would open up to us."

Taesan puts a hand on my shoulder. "We'll get through to him, Riwoo. Don't worry."

I smile weakly, hoping that Taesan is right.

Leehan's POV:

Man, I'm so hungry.

I could totally go for some fried chicken right now. Or maybe some spicy ramen. My stomach is growling just thinking about it.

But then my mind starts to wander to Woonhak. He's been acting so strange lately, and it's really worrying me. I've tried talking to him, but he just brushes me off. He seems...agitated.

I start to think about the time we went fishing together, and how Woonhak was so excited to catch that big fish. He told me he showed it to his sister. He was beaming with pride, and it was infectious.

But now, he just seems so... lost. Like he's drowning in his own thoughts, and I don't know how to throw him a lifeline.

I sigh, feeling helpless. I just want my friend back, you know? The happy, carefree Woonhak who loved food and life in general.

I make a mental note to try and talk to him again, to see if I can get through to him this time. Maybe I can take him fishing again, or we can just grab some food and hang out.

Something's got to work, right?

3rd person's POV:

As the group sits down for lunch, the conversation flows easily, but beneath the surface, a sense of worry lingers. Everyone's eyes keep drifting to Woonhak, whose red eyes show a long night of tears.

Despite the attempts at small talk, the tension is palpable. Riwoo tries to steer the conversation towards fun topics, but even that can't distract from the elephant in the room.

Sungho, always the peacemaker, tries to subtly suggest a solution. "Hey, Woonhak, why don't we hang out at your place after school? We can study together, or just chill."

But Woonhak's response is immediate and vehement. "No, no, I don't think that's a good idea. My mom's... uh... renovating the house, and it's a mess."

The group exchanges skeptical glances. They know Woonhak's lying, but no one calls him out on it.

Taesan tries to smooth over the awkwardness. "No worries, Woonhak. We can hang out somewhere else then."

But the damage is done. The concern is written all over their faces, and Woonhak's denial only fuels their worry.

As they continue with lunch, the conversation feels forced, the laughter a little too loud. They're all thinking the same thing: what's going on with Woonhak, and how can they help him?

---

As the period after lunch begins, the group decides to try and subtly push Woonhak to open up. But they're not prepared for the explosion that's about to happen.

"Woonhak, come on, what's going on?" Sungho asks, trying to sound casual.

But Woonhak's had enough. He loudly slams his fist on the desk, making everyone jump. "Just leave me alone, okay?! You don't understand anything!"

The classroom falls silent, with all eyes on Woonhak. His friends are shocked, unsure of how to react.

Jaehyun, feeling the adrenaline of the situation, yells back. "No, we won't leave you alone! You're our friend, and we care about you!"

Woonhak's face shows only the expression of anger, and he shoves his chair to the ground. "You don't care about me! You just pretend to! Just like everyone does!" He storms out of the classroom, bumping his shoulder into Jaehyun's.

The classroom erupts into chaos, with everyone staring at the commotion. Taerae gestures for one of them to follow Woonhak, and they choose Riwoo.

Riwoo quickly gets up and follows Woonhak out of the classroom. He finds him at the end of the hallway, still fuming.

"Woonhak, stop! Just talk to me!" Riwoo says, trying to calm him down.

But Woonhak's beyond reason. "Just leave me alone, Riwoo! You don't understand!"

Riwoo grabs Woonhak's arm, trying to hold him back. "I'm not going anywhere, Woonhak. I'm your friend."

Slowly, Woonhak's anger starts to dissappear, replaced by tears. He breaks down, sobbing uncontrollably.

Riwoo pulls him into a hug, holding him tight. "It's okay, Woonhak. I'm here for you."

As they stand there, Woonhak starts to confess everything - his parents' fighting, his feelings of helplessness, his fear of losing his friends. He's sobbing into Riwoo's shirt, hugging him tightly.

Riwoo listens, offering words of comfort and support. He tells Woonhak that he's not alone, that they'll face everything together.

As Riwoo hugs him, the tension melts away, replaced by a sense of relief and camaraderie.

Finally, Woonhak pulls back, his eyes redder than ever. "Thanks, Riwoo. I don't know what I'd do without you guys."

Riwoo smiles, remembering Sungho's words, his eyes shining with tears. "You'll never have to find out, Woonhak. We're in this together, always."
