The next day, Jaehyun and Riwoo still refused to even react to each other. But there was a subtle shift in the air. Jaehyun, who had been avoiding Riwoo's gaze, accidentally caught his eye in the hallway. For a brief moment, they just looked at each other, the tension between them obviously still there.
Riwoo, who had been feeling guilty and regretful about what happened with them, looked away first, but Jaehyun saw an expression of sorrow in his eyes that gave him hope. Maybe, just maybe, they could work through this.
Meanwhile, their friends were getting impatient about the delay of solving of the issue. "Come on, guys, can't you just talk it out already?" Sungho joked, but deep down, they were worried. They had never seen Jaehyun and Riwoo like this before.
Taerae, who had been observing from the sidelines, approached Jaehyun after class. "Hey, Jaehyun, can I talk to you for a minute?"
Jaehyun nodded, curious. "I guess so. What's up, Taerae?"
Taerae hesitated before speaking. "I know you're still hurt, but maybe it's time to try to talk to Riwoo. He's really sorry for what happened, Jaehyun. He loves you."
Jaehyun looked away, his heart still heavy. "I need time, Taerae. I'm not ready yet. I need to prepare what to say"
Taerae nodded understandingly. "I get it. But just think about it, okay?"

A week had passed since the argument, and Jaehyun had been thinking a lot about his feelings. He had been hurt and angry, but as the days went by, he realized that he couldn't keep avoiding Riwoo forever.
Jaehyun decided that it was time to confront Riwoo and clear the air once and for all. He wasn't sure what would happen or what they would say to each other, but he knew he couldn't keep living like this.
He took a deep breath and steeled himself for the conversation ahead. It wouldn't be easy, but he was ready to face whatever came next.
