"GO JACKIEEE" syd yelled. i shook my head and laughed as we walked to the locker room.

"boring ahh" chelsea mumbled.

"is kelsey okay ? she texted us and told us she wasn't gone make it to practice but she didn't tell us why" megan asked.

"ohh um she had a therapy session and the medicine her therapist gave her made her loopy" i said and they nodded.

"i just wanna eat-

"AHT SYD STOP IT RIGHT THERE" i yelled before she could finish her sentence.

"syd you nasty as h*ll" aja said.

"ong" tiff said making me laugh.

i grabbed my phone & texted kels to see how she's doing and if she needs anything before i head home.

wifey🖤: hey ml just got out of practice.. how you feeling ??

bae🥰: im okay still drowsy.. i hope you had a good practice.. time to come home i miss you.

wifey🖤: aww lol i miss you more baby.. im about to head out do you want or need anything before i head home ??

bae🥰: well i have been craving chocolate covered strawberries so can you pick some up from the strawberry shop 🥺??

wifey🖤: ofc.. get some rest my love i'll be home in 15.

bae🥰: okay be safe & i love you!

wife🖤: i love you more and i will.

i grabbed my stuff and said bye to the team.

"bye guys" i said.

"bye jack! and let us know how kels is doing" chelsea said.

"i will" i said before walking out. i got into my car and headed to the strawberry shop and then headed home.

once i got home i walked upstairs and i saw kels in bed with the cover over her head. i touched her hip and leaned over pulling the cover from her head.

"baby here's your strawberries" i said lightly shaking her.

she began to stir and i walked over to my side of the bed.

"baby you gotta stop sleeping with the cover over your head for you suffocate" i said.

"i missed you" she said as she could barely open her eyes.

"i missed you more mama. look just relax and imma go shower i will be back" i said kissing her forehead.

"okay" she mumbled. i grabbed some clean clothes and headed to the bathroom to shower. 10 minutes later i walked out and i saw kelsey smile at me. she finally got her eyes to open lol.

"tell yo therapist don't give you that medicine again" i said getting into bed beside her.

i watched as she took a slow bite from her chocolate strawberry before smiling. "so good" she whispered.

"lol your so cute" i said giggling.

"you want one ?" she asked smiling at me.

"im good baby thank you tho" i said and she nodded.

"good i really didn't wanna share" she said making me laugh.

"how you feeling tho my love ?" i asked.

"tired.. my body is exhausted" she said and i nodded.

"you want me to give you a neck massage ?" i asked and she smiled at me nodding quickly.

she sat in between my legs and i massaged her neck. i could feel her muscles loosen as i rub them. she's most definitely stressing.

"thank you for this babe.. it's really been a lot on me" kelsey said.

"ofc i don't want you stressing bae.. your mental health is not good right now" i said and she nodded.

"my dad called today" she said making my eyes widen.

"what ? but you guys haven't talked in years" i said.

"exactly. i didn't know what to say. he missed so much of my life. he missed some of the most important days of my life" kelsey said.

"yeah.. do you blame him for your sisters death ?" i asked.

"idk honestly.. apart of me feels like if he hadn't left her unattended in a bath filled with water but the other part of me feels guilty for feeling like that" she said.

"it's not your fault baby. im not gonna voice my opinion but if you do blame him your not wrong" i said.

"i just wonder what life would be like if she was still here. if he hasn't left her unattended. if i hadn't seen my sisters lifeless body as it was stiff and cold. i was 7 years old" she whispered the last part.

"im so sorry baby.. we can talk about something else. i didnt meant to make you upset by asking" i said.

"no it's okay. really i've had so much time to think about it and except it for what it is" she said.

"bae wya ?" i asked walking downstairs.

"kitchen" i heard her faintly say.

i walked into the kitchen where i saw rickea and arike.

"ohh hey guys" i said.

"hey girl how was your nap ?" rickea asked.

"so good i needed that" i said laughing.

"did he call back ?" i asked jack.

"mhm i declined it but feel free to call him back if you want.. i just didn't want you to feel pressured to talk to him" she said and i nodded.

"im not ready" i said sitting down.

"then tell him that mama. your not entitled to talk to him let him know that and if he can't except that so be it" she said.

"hey i just want you to know that kiare and i could never replace your sister but you will always have us. we're your sisters" rickea said.

i took a deep breath as i felt the tears roll down my face. i got up and hugged her tightly. i just wanted someone to expect me other than my mom. she's all i had before.

"thank you so much. that means more than you'll ever know" i said.

"ofc we're here for you girl always" she said.

"aww we love siblings that can get along. don't worry yall will be fighting like animals soon enough" arike said making us laugh.

i looked up and saw jackie smiling at our interaction. thank God for her and her sister. oh and her parents too lol.

"arike please your not helping" jackie said laughing.

"oh my bad" she said giggling.

we walked to the living room and sat down to just talk and hang out. i never really talk about my sister because seeing her lifeless body traumatized me so bad.

but knowing i got kiare and rickea makes me grateful and happy. God knew i needed them in my life. i hope my sister is proud of me tho.
