we walked hand in hand along the beach as we listened to the waves. i can't believe i actually married my person. everything about this feels right. bcus even marrying darren deep down i was not ready for it.

"you okay ?? you looked like you were deep in your thoughts".

"oh yeah i was just thinking about how im so happy i married you" i said.

"what else ?? it's not just that" she said.

"so yk how we talked about kids in the future right ?" i asked.

"yes why ?" she asked.

"how long do you wanna wait ?? not rushing you i kinda just wanna have an idea yk" i said.

"idk because we both play pro basketball. so considering the time maybe about a year or two" she said.

"oh great" i said looking at the waves.

"what's wrong with that kels ? yk ion like rushing into stuff" jack said. i could tell she was getting irritated and so was i so we can go tit for tat if she want.

"no tell me what's wrong kels. we gotta talk about stuff like this".

"a year ?? or two ?? you do realize that ivf may take that by itself so your telling me really 3-4 years from now ?" i told her.

"okay but 3-4 years seems like a decent time" she said.

"for you jackie.. a decent time for you. im old as h*ll and i don't wanna wait that long" i said letting go of her hand.

"baby your not old" she said sighing.

"easy for you say your still in your 20s. it's not just about my age jackie i want kids and 3-4 years is a long time"

"nothing ykw i don't wanna argue. we're on our honeymoon you don't gaf so let's just forget about it" i said as i continued walking.

"i do care i just don't see the rush to have kids. baby your 30 that's not old and i understand you want kids it's gonna happen" she said walking in front of me as she held my waist.

we got back to the airbnb and we've been here for 4 days and so far it's been amazing ! spending time with my wife life this up until that little disagreement but hey it happens.
